Homely, welcoming, friendly, warm (lovely real fires burning away!) good old fashioned pub. Their own 'Heights Bitter' was a lovely pint 🍺👍👍👍😁

Perfect place for a pint, it's a long way out of the way but worth the effort to get there.

A very quaint and rural to have a drink with friends and family all year round. Full of history and right next door to St Thomas’ Church and graveyard which is definitely worth a visit. Overlooking Saddleworth and Delph you can see Pots and Pans and Indian’s Head on a clear day. It has a very homely and cosy feel in winter with its open log fires, but you’ll have no chance reaching it by car when it’s snowing... best leave the car in Delph and walk if you’re planning a visit when snow is predicated. Also very quiet with little to no passing traffic. Enjoy your visit.

A brilliant traditional pub. A definite must-see if you are in Saddleworth and you enjoy proper local atmosphere, good ale and a friendly chat. However, visitors are often disappointed to find the pub closed, as it only opens a few days a week and only for the evenings. Your best bet to enjoy this treat is Friday, Saturday, Sunday, in the evenings (from around 17 o'clock).
The pub does not serve food, you can only get snacks and crisps. But! You can buy fresh eggs, layed by the pub's own chickens! :) Dogs are welcome, walkers and runners accompanying them - as well.

Seriously trad, old school inn. The polar oppisite of a trendy wine bar; it has very nice beers, especially for the price.

Small, historic, stone-built pub set on a sometimes bleak hillside besides Delph chapel. It is located about a mile outside and above Delph village, so be prepared for a walk if you get the bus 184 from Manchester or Oldham (alight at Friarmere Road). Small interior, with low ceilings but a warm and friendly welcome is always assured. Good range of home-made meals alongside three or so good cask ales. Recommended.
