Excellent food, served in a neat atmosphere. It had a modern but rustic feel to it. Try the burger. It was cheesy awesomeness. The Caesar salad had an interesting presentation, and was definitely different. In a good way. You had better like anchovies! The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, is that our server was not good. She barely spoke. She went missing several times when we ran out of drinks and food. She forgot to inform us of the daily specials. I'll give it another shot because of the food...

Despite recommendations to order 2-3 plates per person, I think we only ordered 3 plates between the two of us. Very delicious. The chef was accommodating to my partner's gluten free diet, even making a special sauce. I loved the eclectic chandeliers.

Pretty disappointed with our last visit to I.d.
Seems like the food quality has gone downhill, and portion sizes have gotten even smaller compared to previous visits. Also the drinking water or water glasses had a very strong fishy odor to them.
We ended up getting sparkling water because the smell from the glasses was so off-putting.

Fantastic selection of small plates and craft cocktails. Start with the cheese selection and Japanese Milk Bread, leave sufficient room for dessert! Service is professional but uneven. Wine list is superb, covers almost every desire and exquisitely pairs with the menu.

This is our second trip to ID. The meal exceeded expectations. Our first trip was good, but this last trip was even better. Drink menu was excellent, and the ambience of the restaurant is awesome. It is definitely worth your time to make the trip to Delafield to eat at ID.
