Great atmosphere, usually really good pizzas this most recent time a couple were quite burnt but great flavour and ingredients. Awesome space for functions.

Lovely for breakfast or brunch. Very hipster place and you can tell it clearly caters for vegan and vegetarian customers alot.
Lovely food, very creative design on lovely bread, but had to pay $5 extra for a bit of bacon which was sort of dumped on the side as an afterthought.
Lovely atmosphere and great service in this busy little restaurant/cafe. Parking is quite difficult to get here, but worth coming in to check out. It really has a down-south Melbourne-esque vibe.

Quintessential Darwin! Love the outdoor seating area and atmosphere!
The homemadeness of the gluten-free bases is so appreciated!
I miss the mushroom/preserved lemon/truffle oil pizza because that was the best pizza I’d had in probably a decade!

Classic fixture in this part of Darwin, where live music and jazz gets periodically played and has a little stage installed in the venue. The day time menu is a bit restricted and drinking on the bar is allowed quite a bit later - not the place for a boozy breakfast.
The evening menu is a bit stronger with several options and specials on the go. The pizza is tasty and of good make, thin crust. Drinks are decent..a bit more pricey than the average venue but it definitely has a very territorial feel to it.

Went to Lucky Bat cafe for dinner. Ordered 2 pizzas and were seated quickly
After 50 minutes of waiting we politely confirmed our order hadn’t been lost by accident , and were told it was due to being short staffed and “lots of online orders” placed before ours. This means not only a large number of people must have been happy to place online orders 1 hour in advance, but also that staff were aware there was over 1 hour wait for the pizzas and did not tell us
We sat and watched other people appear to walk in and place take away orders and leave with pizza, but we’re told that wasn’t possible as they must have ordered online (I’m confused as to what those people were doing then when they verbally placed orders)
The pizza was ok, but nothing on the pizza looked like it would take a significant amount of time to prepare. Perhaps a larger pizza oven might help? Or better communication on wait times for food. I appreciate they may have been short staffed but other reviews seem to indicate this isn’t the first time this has happened

Great home style cafe with fresh food and smooth coffee. The bagdad eggs are amazing Highly recommend this cafe! Could be compared to a good Sydney or Melbourne cafe.

This place makes you believe in capitalism. They need some competition! Some great waiters in the morning, baristas so so. But the food has gone rapidly downhill since they opened. In the evening, you routinely wait over an hour for pizza and kinda feel like you've walked into a party you weren't invited to. The staff sit around talking to themselves and everything is a hassle. The market is cornered in Nightcliff, but I have the feeling they wouldn't survive elsewhere.
