Went in on Saturday evening around 7pm place was totally dead only around dozen people. They don't serve food but service was first class and good pint

We ate at The Deacon with friends a few nights ago and had a lovely meal - freshly cooked, tasty, sensibly priced, no long waits, friendly and attentive staff, and a small selection of quality beers to help wash it all down.

Have ever been into a public house that isn't your local and you get the feeling that everyone looks at you as you walk in. Well this isn't that place! It's not just the staff but the customers too, if you like to be welcomed in an establishment you choose to spend your hard earned money then this is where you want to be.
