The food was fresh & delicious but serving size has shrunk drastically. Believe roughly $28. Additional i didn’t order the soup, so little puzzled with that. Not sure if the seniors meal got mixed up or whether this is just the regular size now, but definitely wasn’t the usual value for money, meals used to be massive & extremely good value. They were extremely busy & full in the main restaurant, so I try again another time. Maybe just an off day. Additional the kid meal no longer comes with salad? Is it meant to? Or just with the lettuce shortage the side salad have been replaced with other substitutes & either not included? Alternative replace the salads with vegetable.
Kids meal was a little unusual greesy.

The new renovations look great and makes for a better experience.
We have a family Christmas lunch here every year and as usual the staff could have not been more accommodating even with the current covid restrictions.
The food here is always nice.

Live entertainment and very nice dining experience with meal selection of varied tastes. My choice was the Chicken Scallopini - very nice, but a large serving.
Note: The "Seniors Menu" is NOT available on Saturday nights which is unfortunate.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were fantastic. The pork cuttlet with chips and salad was fantastic and the roast was great (pork)

Dandenong RSL is the best place for Lunch/Dinner even just a sandwich from cafe service is brillant staff are all friendly and helpful as well as manager Greg always look forward to every Thursday at Whirlybirds at Dandenong RSL
