Went specifically for the weiners based on reviews. It is diner style and cash only. Waitress was prompt and friendly. Weiners were disappointingly small. I ordered mine with the chili/bean topping, cheese and saurkraut with a large curly fries as a side. The large diet soda was not large - typical diner style glass and a ripoff if based upon cost versus quantity. Never order a fizzy soda at any diner because they come flat you pay $2 or more for the pleasure. If there is ice in the glass, you get what amounts to a few sips. This is not a slight on JK but to diners in general. The 2 dogs came buried under a mountain of saurkraut, not something you can eat with your hands. With all the toppings and the quantity of saurkraut, I could not really get the essence of the weiner itself. I could make out a little bit of spice from the dog and occasionally a hint of the cheese but the saurkraut kind of dominated. The large curly fries for about 6 bucks were appropriately portioned and ok. Perhaps next time, I'll try some of the other offerings but that to me is like ordering the fish at a steak restaurant. I would give a 4 star review if the weiners were a little longer and plumper. I've had better hot dogs from other hot dog places though.
