Houstons Bar And Grill

Was pleasantly surprised. Had concerns based on previous restaurant names. Welcome was lovely. Very friendly. Service on a hole was great. I’m sure they forgot about us as took ages to clear our starter plates. My main was about 5 mins after my partners. I had to chase for it. Both courses for dinner were lovely. Will be back.

This was a first time visit and I absolutely adored it. We made an upfront reservation for 5 people and all 5 of us had a 3 course meal (starter, maind and desserrt). As you can see from the pictures everyone had a different meal. We all definitely enjoyed it. The Service was absolutely amazing and very helpful, if there were any questions from the fest. They were very organised as well and everyone was served their meal without waiting to much. I absolutely and highly cyan recommend that place :) and I hope that standard that they have, they'll keep it up that way. I can't wait to come back here, when I'm over for the next holiday again.

First visit to Houstons Bar and Grill, from the second we entered to leaving I can't praise the service we received highly enough, exceptionally friendly, helpful and nothing was a problem. The food arrived and we went for steak (fillet for my wife and rump steak for myself) I ain't a food snob so I will call it as I found it, steak cooked to perfection,the chips were a masterclass in what a chip should be, the peppercorn sauce complimented both beautifully along with the grilled mushroom and tomatoes. My darling wife finished off with the chocolate brownie desert which was given on the house as it was our wedding anniversary, she gave that a 20/10. I cant believe we havent eaten here before but I look forward to our many future meals at Houstons Bar and Grill, massive thank you again to our 3 fantastic hosts who made our 1st visit so special.

I visited Houstons with friends in June 2023 for an evening meal. the venue is immaculate inside with an expansive main room and private dining area. The venue was bustling and had a great atmosphere. The food and drinks were great as was the service. I would highly recommend you give Houstons a visit. 10/10.

I came here with my wife and we were both very impressed. The staff are friendly and professional. We both thought the food was exceptional, as was the coffee. We thought price was very reasonable given high quality. The background music was nice and not too loud. The tables are well spaced out and comfortable. Grounds are clean and attractive, with ample parking. I really wish we had tried this place earlier. We will definitely be back.

First time visiting and we'll definitely be back. We'd planned on going to the pub next door but it was closed so gave Houstons a try and were very glad we did. We went for lunch with our 3 year old and newborn and the staff were lovely and welcoming. They had a great lunch menu, I'd been worried there wouldn't be many options as a non meat eater but there were plenty. I had soup of the day, Thai spiced sweet potato followed by chargrilled halloumi, both were delicious. OH had haggis starter and the Houstons burger and he enjoyed both. The food was really nice and the atmosphere pleasant, definitely visit if you can.
