Dragon Chef

I consider this place a hidden gem of Culpeper, it's hard to find quality sushi there and Dragon Chef never disappoints me!! They do not do dine-in at the moment, but their food is excellent for takeout. They also have a great selection of both Chinese and Japanese dishes alike to choose from, I've never had anything that wasn't good either. Perfect for a night in!

We love eating here. Their lunch specials are great and the food is always great! **NEW YEAR'S they charge dinner prices all day!!*** I had a very large order and by the time I was done and we went over everything she told me that they would have to charge me dinner prices because it was New Year's if I had known I wouldn't have waited all morning to order from them and I would have just gone somewhere else. 🤷 Oh well $62 dollars later and the whole family is happy New Year's Day!

Was a good place to eat until something happened? No clue. This place always made things right, no issues. I ordered 7 California rolls once for my family a couple weeks ago. They gave me 2 sauce cups about a quarter the way full with soy sauce. So a side note if you order big sushi meals here make sure you have sauce at home. Constantly forgetting stuff, food is over cooked or under cooked, orders being messed up due to lack of understanding. Last 4 times have been horrible experience and think Im going to move on to another place.

Very good food, My wife ordered off the lunch menu and brought it home after her work shift. Food was still tasty and delicious. The lunch combo gets you an entree and spring roll. You can choose a roll or soup, but you must dine in for the soup. You can upgrade to fried rice instead of steamed white rice. The food is tastier than most Chinese places that I have tried .

We're happy George was able to keep Dragon Chef in the family when he sold the business and hope the new folks keep the excellent tradition going. We've been fans of your Sweet & Sour Shrimp and Hunan Beef for years now. Things still seem mostly fine...but something's happened to the Hunan Beef, I'm afraid. The beef is suddenly a bit tougher and there's some new, funny "bite" to the broccoli and sauce. Maybe ask George how he always used to make this dish and could you please return to "George's way" of preparing it? Thank you! Tom Latshaw
