The owner of this store, Mr. Hakeem, is the nicest gentleman we have ever met! We lived in Covington for a year and he became a friend of ours through his hospitality. We recently moved and while visiting Covington we made it a point to get gas from his store, just to see him and the older gentleman that sells rugs and such out front. It was such a pleasure to see them! Hakeem is more than kind to his costumers. He remembers his regulars and always makes sure they are happy with their service. We will genuinely miss stopping into his store over everything else in Covington! Also, their hot lunch bar is delicious!
