The Artisan Bar & Grill

What a find? Visited the Car Museum and fancied a Sunday Lunch. Short walk away Artisan Bar and Grill. Very good price £25 for a three course meal. Prawn cocktail was delicious, cold and very fresh. Roast beef was literally melt in the mouth. Took my daughter and grandsons 9 and 12. They had the children's meal which was fantastic too. A hidden Gem. Staff were above and beyond. Will definitely be going back.

After hearing so many good reviews, I finally get a chance to try it myself. A party if 9 (2 children) went but it wasn't clear if there was a children's menu. There was a few options and our kids loved their food. Most the party had steak, a mix of Ribeye and Sirlion. We all had sauces and the chips were some of the best chips any of us had tasted. My steak was cooked to perfection and a beautiful cut but some of the party's cuts were a little fatty but still delicious. The portions were good and we were all more than satisfied with the meal. I would definitely go back as a treat for an occasion.

Amazing meal at the Artisan. I had the Ribeye steak tender as anything, served with chips and Bloody Mary butter was amazing. Eden was so lovely she took my allergies seriously made great recommendations and made us feel so welcome. I would highly recommend this place and if you have the pleasure of getting Eden to serve you will have the best combination of meal and service.

Fabulous experience for their Sunday roast. Three of us ordered the beef, which was the tenderest I've ever tasted. They will accomodate you, too, if you prefer it to be cooked well-done. Service was excellent and attentive but you must book ahead for Sundays as I witnessed them turning potential customers away due to being fully booked. Great all-round experience in this historic venue.

Just had lunch here and absolutely loved it. Quality steak, cooked exactly how we wanted it and a decent size too. No skimping on the trimmings, we particularly liked the tomato and even took the chips home with us as they were fab but we just couldn’t get through everything. All in all, two steaks with all the trimmings and an extra side of onion rings came to £50. Service was fab too. We’ll definitely be back.

This is one of the best if not the best steak I have eaten in a long time! I would rate it 6 stars out of 5! The service was excellent. The owners Claire and Lee (chef) were very hospitable and we had a good time chatting. I was most thankful that they kept the restaurant opened even after we went in at almost closing time. I would strongly recommend anyone who wants a good steak not to miss out on your restaurant!!!😍
