I am sorry to report that this Checkers has gone downhill over the past 6 months. I've been coming here for several years and while it has been slow, today we waited 30 minutes. Couldn't leave because cars were behind us. We had a simple order, 2 Checkerburgers and 2 chiliburgers. Pics attached. The Checkerburgers were pitiful, no lettuce, one onion, no tomato, very dry and very cold. The chili burgers were disgusting, the chili tasted several days old. The meat on all the burgers was very dry and tasted old.
There were only 2 employees working during our visit (today March 20th, 2022 between 3:45 to 3:15pm).
The only positive thing was the lady at the drive thru was polite, so I gave the 1 extra star for her.
The automated drive-thru commands are broken,; after you place your order it tells you "your order is empty"...whatever that means.
Won't return and don't recommend it.
(Edit 3/25/2022 - As you can see Checker's corporate - or the management company - or the owner replied to this review with a very generic response asking to contact Checkers corporate to get feedback. This is unsatisfactory and should let any customer who visits this location realize that NOTHING will be done regarding the quality of service at this location. I would suggest that this particular store look at the successes of other stores in the region. For example look at the store in Hiram, Ga., or the store in Covington, Ga. Those are good examples of how a store should be managed.)

Yesterday, we ordered the fry seasoned tenders, chicken bites medium combo, a Big Buford and a Big Buford combo. When I got home, I discovered the chicken bites medium was missing. The Big Buford was so cold the cheese didn’t melt. so , my great grandson took that back to Checkers to get a hot one as well as the missing order. There was only 1 barbecue sauce for this large order. The fries were inedible as they were old fries not fresh.
He returned with the missing order, a soggy reheated Big Buford and more condiments. I haven’t figured out why the bottom of the bun was soggy. Needless to say, I didn’t eat it nor the fries. The newly advertised fry seasoned tenders were not even warm, so they were not eaten either.
Today, I am not only disappointed in Checkers, I am angry because of the complete lack of care, pride and concern for serving food that is properly cooked to a trusting, hungry customer.
We also waited over 15 minutes to get this order. Where is management?
Sadly, I will not return to Checkers to be insulted with inedible food and poor service again.

We didn't eat here we order food from across the street @ Shouts out to Golden Crust where you get real service from real people. However while sitting on the patio at CHECKERS we the pleasure to enjoy listening to their customers place there food order with an automated attendant which seemed to not only take extremely long it made for a very frustrating situation for the customer. Man is slowly fading away. #Irobot

We ordered milkshakes. The attendant handed them to us without securing the lids. ????? Could it have been because we didn't order food? Our past experience with their food is that it is always cold. Our milkshakes were delicious, though.

Order wasn't perfect, no cheese on the burger, declined fries, but got them anyway. Got the 2 for $4, which are kinda small, but both the burger and fish sandwiches were fresh and tasty. Couldn't help but eat the fries, they were really good. And the Dr. Pepper was the best one I have gotten in a while - not watered down, just delicious.

The automated drive thru did not take our order correctly and when we got to the window..we were told we could not get our order corrected. The automated system did not ring up the correct amount of orders (we ordered 2 number 6's (5 piece) with ranch dressings and a number 10 with a sweet tea. The system only picked up 1 number 6 and and one number 10. We were told they could not add the missing order . It was difficult getting the manager to the window per the person at the window. When she did come she did, however, offer to prepare our missing meal and asked us to drive up to the pick up window to get our missing order. I do appreciate that part. I write this as I sit in the drive through. This was initially just about the automated system that takes the order but it escalated into something else when the refusal to correct the order was made.

I love love love the employees they were amazing. They laughed at me complaining about the new robotic drive through. It sounds like the voice you get when you call the bank and was not accurate at all. The only reason this location is getting 3 stars is because the employees where amazing.

I don’t think the owners know what’s really going on here. It’s absolutely terrible, I should not have to wait 30-45 minutes for fast food. Second time coming and both times horrible… i sat in line for 35 minutes to be told I can’t purchase anything, no explanation, nothing! To the owners you need to step it up, hire new crew or proper management to manage correctly. Please go by your establishment after 12am to see what’s going on.. Hell, Drive through the drive through yourself and ask yourself do you want to be served like this?? FOH
