Dos Coyotes Border Cafe

This resturante is just fine. The service is great, friiendly staff, its clean, tidy, fun decor... my only gripe is with the food. The food is made well, but it all lacks flavor, which can be found at the salsa bar. To be fair they make fine food that all my white friends would love, but it is lacking seasoning and is bland but can be fixed with the provided salsa bar. I am just not happy with doctoring up every bite.

I started going to Dos when I went to school at UC Davis. I only recently found out that there was a Dos in Concord! I was very excited to give it a try to see if it would be the same as the one in Davis. Concord is only 20 to 30 minutes away from where I live and I frequent the area a lot. On this day I ordered the ranchero burrito! Oh man, it was terrific! I love the sauce and cheese poured over the burrito. I'm getting hungry thinking about it again. It's not very often you find a place that has a burrito that is smothered in sauce and cheese. If you don't have it often, try it at Dos! I highly recommend it!

AMAZING experience! Portions are huge - think burrito the size of your head - and the prices are very reasonable. I had the border steak burrito and it was by far the best burrito I've had in months if not years. (Plus, all the burritos come with guacamole without extra cost.) The space is large and seems to fit all occasions. Lots of people with families while at the same time single people mingling at the bar. Finally, the staff were incredible. Excellent customer service and really a positive vibe throughout. Def recommend - check it out!

Love this place. We've been fans since we were students in Davis. Substantial, piping hot dinner plates that really deliver on flavor and contract. Never a bad salsa in the salsa bar. My go to are the red enchiladas all. the. time. Happy hour can be fun too. Jinna our bartender this past Friday was a delight and made us up some really nice cocktails.
