The Lunch Box

Stopped here on a road trip with my parents. Service was very quick, food was delicious and plentiful, and the decor was really interesting. Sort of rustic industrial! Loved it, will stop again next time through town. (Note: my mom uses a walker, whole cafe is laid out very well for her to walk through, not crowded.)

While driving cross country through Clovis, I had planned a lunch stop. I came across The Lunch Box and decided to stop. I'm so glad I did. The front of the building doesn't look like much, but it is large and so enchanting inside. A very cute shabby chic, and immaculately clean. Almost all the tables were full, so it is definitely popular with the locals. Each person in my group of four ordered the petite sandwich plus a side. Definitely a filling sandwich along with potato salad and peach iced tea. The service was friendly and quick, considering how busy they were. This was a great find for a relaxing lunch on a long road trip.

Thanks to these folks for a great lunch experience with fantastic options and excellent service! The different menu items will cause some indecision - so many to choose. Everyone in our group tried something unique and rave reviews were expressed throughout the meal. Make this location a stop on your agenda while visiting the Clovis/Portales area of New Mexico!
