Dave's Cafe

We stopped here while staying a night in Cloudcroft. This place is perfect. All of the food was excellent. We had the Willy burger, which had a great contrast of very grilled green chile and onions and lightly grilled crisp jalapeños. It had a nice kick to it. The chips were great, but the fries were even better. We also had the fried veggies basket, which has fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, and onion rings with a ranch sauce on the side. We also shared some tots with green chile and cheese. The service was fast. Everything was prepared perfectly, and the food was ready very quickly. There was live music while we were there, so that was a nice touch to the vibe of this restaurant. Our server was incredibly attentive to all of her tables, and she was managing a lot! Props to the team working tonight. They were amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

Was on a weekend get away in Cloudcroft NM from Phoenix. After much consideration we ended up choosing to try Dave's Cafe and I can say we were not disappointed. We were a party of 5 adults and a child and we all found different options to try. We tried 2 Bacon Cheeseburger, Open faced chili burger, and 2 patty melts. For the appetizers we tried the chili cheese fries, chili cheese tots, fried mushrooms, and fried zucchini. All the food was amazing and definitely worth the visit. We also got 3 Roy Rogers(which was the best I have had anywhere) and 2 Rootbeers. The reason i didn't leave a five star is because one in the party got sick afterward might or might not be because of the food. I apologize in advance for not providing all the fotos.

We came here on a whim during our vacation and so worth it! The whole family loved everything we ordered. Magic Melt, Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, even raspberry tea, hot apple cider, and nice draft options... and those fries, yes! Shelby was our server and she was fantastic! Sad we don't live near here to visit more often, but we do plan to go back again before we leave town.
