Bashall Barn

As a wedding guest, I highly recommend this venue. It is certainly worth attending one of their Open Day events to see the fantastic views which make a superb backdrop to a joyous occasion. All went smoothly, the food was delicious and the staff ensured great attention to detail to give everyone a memorable day. Couples choose their own photographer and florist. This personal input makes every wedding unique.

Really interesting wedding venue. The place had lots of moving partition walls so that by the evening the guests had plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy and a huge central bar, large pizza oven and counter top where supper was served, and breakfast the next morning. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean and tidy. From what I saw of the guest rooms the ensuites were spacious and the beds looked comfortable. Definitely worth checking out if you are planning a wedding. The location is a little remote but that means beautiful countryside views and peace all around. There is an outside ceremony area but due to bad weather the wedding we attended was held indoors.

My husband and I got married at Bashall Barn in November 2022, and it was the most perfect day. Bashall was the first venue we looked at and I instantly fell in love. My husband wanted to look at a few more places first, and after looking at a handful more he agreed that none of them even came close to being as lovely as Bashall. As the owner of an events company I can be quite hard to please and have really high expectations, but the team here did an amazing job, and surpassed all of them. My bridesmaids and I had the loveliest night before the wedding in the suites, drinking prosecco and getting excited for the day ahead. The morning was a dream, we woke up to stunning views and everything was just so chilled. That was in large part to Alice Rose Bridal Hair and LouMac Makeup, as they both did a fantastic job of getting all 9 of us ready, with no stress. If you have having a wedding at Bashall I highly recommend them both! The setup team at Bashall were so lovely. They had heard I was having a Harry Potter theme and so they decorated our table for breakfast in a Harry Potter style and even made me a broom out of leaves, which was so thoughtful I could have cried! I went over every detail with them in the morning of how I wanted the room to look and they nailed it, it was exactly my vision. The day itself ran like clockwork (apart from the grooms party being fashionably late, but that was no fault of the venues!), and that was all down to our wedding coordinator Flo. Flo was fantastic and I cannot thank her enough. She looked out for our needs the whole day, from holding my train for me after my last bridesmaid had gone through, to making sure we had a glass of fizz after the ceremony, and that canapes were put aside for us. All of our guests have commented on what a great, stunning venue it was, and how lovely the food was. I could go on and on, but all I have to say is if you are thinking of booking Bashall then just go ahead and do it! You will not regret it. They go above and beyond to help you make any wacky idea you have happen - we even had a rodeo bull setup by the bar! Thanks again to the whole team, you are truly fantastic. Mr and Mrs Lyons
