Cracker Barrel

THE WORST!!!!!! This was the first and last time I will EVER go to Cracker Barrel....I ordered chicken and dumplings. The first brought me a bowl of dumplings with no chicken. The dumpling that I took a bite of was really good. They took that away and brought me a bowl of chicken with PASTA!!!! They tried to tell me that it was just watered-down dumplings....but there is a texture, flavor and consistency difference between dumplings and pasta. The photo shows the pasta they brought me! I wasso excited to go to this place as I had never been before. They made me feel so awful that I got up and walked away from a family dinner. If a restaurant should be shut down, its this one. Just lock the doors and walk away....that would be doing a service to the community instead of allowing people to havelock horrific experiences!

We love cracker barrel! The atmosphere and food were delicious! Pancakes pleased everyone's palates! The hash brown casserole is amazing and the french toast is yummy too. We'd never had a bad server there, but this one was pretty bad. She got several things in our order wrong and then was not happy to bring replacements of what we actually ordered and did not refill our waters. We were super thirsty but after our order mishap, we didn't feel like we could ask for the refill. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and isn't always like that. Overall the food outweighed the poor service. Their food is delicious!!
