Lucky that this chippy is literally down the end of our road but it is 100% the nicest chippy I've had in Chorley. Freshly cooked, staff are friendly and you can actually have an intelligent conversation whilst waiting. The food is spot on and reasonably priced and there is other things available if you don't fancy a bit of fish. I would recommend this chippy and I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in Chorley. Thanks J Seas and team.

Friendly bloke ( probably owner?) who serves you , he’s chatty and clearly knows his stuff . Nice to see the fish cooked on order instead of two hours before then sat in a warming cabinet until sold , at which time they’re rock hard. I used to regularly go to another chippy in the area, but no more. This one’s really ace and deserves to do well. Thank you Mr JS.

Oh my my Fish and Chips is amazing with delicious Crispy batter..and the best thing is its not fried in Palm Oil..I also get the chilli con carne / cajun chicken with chips...all sooo good it's difficult to choose. All gravy / curry sauce is cooked by the owner..so delicious and healthy

I have never been here before I called in on my way back home to Blackpool and omg this place is just awesome the fish was to die for the chips just wow and the curry sauce was lovely I will definitely be back again when I'm back in the area

VERY good 👍!! As a HGV driver that come up from Plymouth that's over run with good chippy's. I stumbled across this place and I have to say it one of the best iv had. Honestly the best chippy around. As someone who lives with lifelong illness(kidney failure) this is the ONLY chippy around that doesn't make me ill. Fresh fish, good oils and J himself is an absolute stellar man. Been going here nearly since it opened years ago and -any- issue is addressed immediately .

John the owner is a fantastic person. The fish and chips in my opinion are the best in UK.
The food tastes great. I travel 88 miles round trip for this Chippy. This Chippy is my best kept secret.

It was absolutely delicious and worth the price however if you suffer an intolerance then I recommend reminding them to label the fish box with gluten free or not as I suffer from intolerance and 3 fish and chips got mixed up one ordered was a gluten free and I experienced a bad stomach.
