The best flavoured ice cream! Always a lovely stop on a walk or bike ride along the canal. Staff are polite and helpful, and the ice cream is just amazing and so many flavours to choose from. Current favourites are orange choc chip and banana choc chip. Husband loves rum and raisin.

Amazing and ever changing choice of ice creams, plus food and drinks. Convenient if walking along the canal path from Adlington to Chorley. Popular in the summer, with cars parked along adjoining road sides. Take home tubs of ice cream available.

Fascinating history to this remarkable ice-cream parlour. Not only that but excellent ice-cream with some 40 flavours in the shop, and I believe a total of 120 in their listings. I would certainly revisit.
My only negative comment were the sticky tables and arms of chairs outside.

Amazing selection of flavours. I love that you can buy both the ice cream and syrup to take home. I bought some bubble gum syrup 😋

Lots of flavours to choose from, although the cappuccino flavour I opted for was very subtle and didn't taste much like coffee. You can add toppings and select various cones to enhance your ice-cream. There's seating inside and out but this can be limited depending on how busy it is. When we visited it was part of a much larger party and the queue was very long and space limited. That said, staff quickly got through everyone's orders and were helpful.

It is an excellent ice cream shop. People from far away come to eat ice cream. That's why it is very famous. It is small and old but it doesn't look as if it is old. There are various varieties of flavors. It even has an canal sidewalk behind it. The car park is on the road because there is no car park. You can park on a car park which is far away. The shop is clean.

Have been coming here over 20 years even though it takes me nearly an hour to get to. That's testimony to just how great it is, great service and great ice creams. Never fails to disappoint 😍

Nice little ice cream parlor, was very busy on a hot day but served pretty quickly. Theres lots to choose from, with lots of traditional and contemporary options. Went for a two scoop banana chip cone and it was pretty tasty, if you like the artificial banana flavour it was good, I had an oat coffee to go too, that was okay but enjoyed the ice cream, nice treat on a hot day like today.
