We ordered delivery without realizing it was before closing, but they were so courteous upon arrival, as well as being extremely prompt on a Wednesday evening. Everything was carefully packaged, including complementary *beautiful and fresh* green and red salsas, a generous 16 oz tub of guacamole of exceptional quality, among our haul of delicious, steaming tacos and sopes. I also ordered a tamale for later, which is described on the menu as “prepared with ash and steamed in a banana leaf”, which I have not encountered before, and it appears to be flatter and longer than the many I have eaten before in my life. All of which is to say, Restaurante Cuetzala definitely offers something special from a taste of their home, adding a distinct highlight to the dining offerings on Chicago’s North side. I will always order from here!

We ordered delivery last night and we're so pleased with the results. It was packed nicely and everything was hot and looked appealing. Enchiladas Mole were filling, plenty of hand shredded chicken inside and mole had deep rich flavor. My husband got a chimichanga that was stuffed and crispy. We shared a Tres leches cake slice and next time we will order two, so good. One of the best delivery meals we have had in a long time. We plan to visit the restaurant soon.

I gave it 5 stars although I've only had the Menudo here, bestest. Also because they offer it on the daily. Have had the chips, too, of course. Great chips. Service is spectacular. Super friendly staff. The "mom in the kitchen" of the establishment is always there, on the stove. Excited to try more of her dishes Huaraches are good too. Freshly hand made
