This is the best place to eat in Chicago. I live in Detroit and I specifically chose an Airbnb within walking distance of Denden so we would have easy access! Go here. Often. Enjoy. Wonderful flavors, quick and friendly service, nice atmosphere.

Very enjoyable overall with a family and neighborhood atmosphere, very comforting. The food is great and some of the best East African food you'll find anywhere in Chicago.

I'm not an expert, but the food at Denden is delicious!
I wasn't a fan on injera, but theirs is soft, and tasty. I had the spicy fish with collard greens, lentils and potatoes. I loved everything, that now I order take out every two weeks. I highly recommend this restaurant.
