Nacional 27

Nacional 27 was the venue for our rehearsal dinner, and we could not have been happier! We had amazing food & drinks for one thing. We did our own seating arrangements but were given the room layout in advance which was helpful. We also had music and salsa dancing (including a short salsa class), and my brother-in-law was able to be the MC for speeches later in the night. The staff were friendly (I personally appreciated our waiter who gave our table a round of tequila shots when we asked for them... I don't think he was supposed to but it helped with my night-before-wedding nerves haha). The food was so good, and it was served family style so each guest could try a variety of dishes. Apps were passed as guests arrived as well, and then we had an extensive dessert bar. It was such a fantastic start to our wedding weekend, and so memorable for all of our guests who were able to attend!

We had our work party here and it was a blast. The food was incredibly good, the music was great, and the space is really nice. The drinks were high quality, and the dance floor was a nice touch. We had karaoke and a photo booth set up and everything flowed really well. I would be very happy to come back here.

Family and I received New Years at Nacional27! The atmosphere was great! Having experience at multiple night clubs/bars across the US, I have to acknowledge the great security/bouncers at this place. They act fast and efficiently, making the atmosphere that much better for those trying to have a great night out. Coat check is a +. If you are visiting Chicago like myself, I highly recommend this place. Will be back!

I can't wait to visit this place again. While the portions are moderate, it definitely does not miss on flavor. I prefer my sangria a little sweeter but the corn con queso and the Peruvian skirt steak with potatoes, and their extensive cocktail menu is definitely worth another visit. Our party was over a half- hour late for our reservations, they still sat us and the kitchen doesn't close until 12. They also turn into a night club at 11 pm, so it makes the perfect combination for night life dining and eating. They also have excellent quick service.
