Ruby Buffet

I went in for a cheap lunch because I was in the area and didn't want to spend much. The cost came out to be about 11 after tax. After serving myself and eating at my table, most of the food that I took was room temperature. Also, there wasn't much of a variety of foods to choose from. Based on the food quality, I think some of the food might have been leftovers that have been re-served in hopes of getting rid of them. In the sushi area, there were only two plates of sushi people were allowed to pick from; the rest of the available plates were covered with plastic wrap. I think it was because when I came in they were switching to dinner, and the wrapped sushi was saved for dinner. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't well heated. So all its patrons dined with their jackets on. At the very least, my busser was very nice when interacting with me, and prompt to clear my dirty plates. In all, it was a disappointing dining experience - to put it nicely. I got what I paid for; I should've expected more.

Reopened now that New Jersey allows indoor dining again. Masks are required in the food area and you must wear gloves (supplied) when selecting food. The staff is attentive in clearing your used plates and refilling your beverages. This Asian buffet has something for everyone. Even pizza, corn on the cob and French fries. There is a large selection of traditional Chinese American cuisine along with sushi. The kids can enjoy a large array of desserts including cakes, fruits, ice cream and there's always room for Jell-O. But only if they finish their vegetables.

Amazing food, the dining area was kept very clean and they provided bowls for any trash you had from clams, chopsticks, oranges. Etc. Staff was walking around cleaning up the dining areas and keeping everything clean. The bathroom was kind of dirty but that could have happened very quickly while they were cleaning elsewhere.

If it was possible I would give them a zero out of 5 stars. I went here for my birthday last Saturday and left with the worst stomach virus imaginable. I am fighting for my life here. Everything I do results in vomit and I can't even preform the basic needs to take care of myself and now I may need to go to an urgent care. So if you don't want a stomach virus I highly don't recommend eating here at all
