Ricks Diner

I’ve been coming to this diner for the past 9 years, and it is by far my favorite diner in the area! The establishment is small, but don’t let that fool you! Their food is AMAZING, despite the bad reviews. Like most places, every once in a while there’s human error, but don’t let one bad experience stop you from eating here! Their Captain Crunch French Toast is effing DELICIOUS! That’s my go to on the menu. I can agree that the home fries are usually room temp, never steaming, but I don’t like home fries anyway 🤷🏽‍♀️ The service is always great! Staff is prompt and quick on their feet. Food always comes out quick! If you’ve never been here before, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

First time at Ricks. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Food easily exceeded expectations and were already considering when we would return here. When we were ordering a sandwich (That had bacon on it), we asked if the bacon could be served on the side. When we received the check at the end, we were charged $5.25 for the bacon on the side. Nearly the entire cost of the sandwich. We simply asked what the charge was for since we didn’t order an extra side of bacon or anything, and the server had somewhat of a meltdown. She then proceeded to loudly discuss the issue with her coworkers a mere 5 feet away from where we were seated. That final interaction definitely left us with a sour taste in our mouth and we won’t be returning. I wasn’t too bothered by the additional charge or the miscommunication. The way the server handled it was what bothered us.

Doesn't have to be fancy- just has to be good. And Rick's is very good. Tucked away in one of several plazas at Chelmsford's Drum Hill, all you see is the word DINER as you drive across the parking lot. It's not until you get very close that you find that this diner has a name. No frills inside either, but it does have a nice home feel. Haven't had a bad meal here yet and the service is always friendly and prompt... inexpensive as well. Definitely worth a try.

Usually pretty good. Ordered Breakfast last Friday and was eating my omelette biting into egg shells. I wanted to open the omelette to maybe pick out the shells and saw some of the bacon inside wasnt even cooked. I threw the breakfast away. 3 stars that day, i might think twice before ordering again
