We had the smashed avocado on toast, which was really fresh and delicious. Also the cheddar and chutney sandwich was lovely. Great little cafe in a quaint village.

Great cafe with friendly engaging staff! We just had the Cauliflower and Mustard soup with sourdough bread and a pot of tea with a shared slice of Victoria Sandwich the sponge of which was perfect!! All lovely altho the soup was more mustard than Cauliflower! Still just the job on a dricht day!

Wittles of Castle Acre is a busy tea room providing brunch, lunch, and cake! Sandwich plates or 'boards' from £12. Smoothies from £5. Four-legged friends welcome. All dishes looked homemade, and our food was delicious. The fruit scones are excellent. Service was quick and friendly. Gluten-free meals are available. Afterwards, take a walk around the St James Great Church an impressive Norman Church.

Lovely local café with gorgeous food and welcoming staff. Very popular. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options and well behaved doggies are welcome.

There's no tea shop at the ruined abbey, but fear not, Whittles fills that gap wonderfully. The cake looked gorgeous but we opted for brunch, excellent. Really popular with local cycling clubs too (they all opted for the breakfast sandwich and a cuppa, plus a refill of the water bottle). We'll definitely come again

Lovely place to stop in for breakfast. Had the avocado and poached on toast and absolutely had to add a sausage (and got too!). Nice tasty portion sizes, dog friendly, friendly staff and if I’ve got room…the cakes look good too!!

Stopped here for lunch after a lovely tour of the castle acre priory. Located right in the heart of town it has such a sweet charm. Outdoor tables were only for people waiting on take away (only disappointment). We were seated for lunch quickly and received attentive service. We opted for the afternoon tea with ham sandwiches and scones. Everything was delicious. Will definitely return for brunch and to get a picnic box for take away.

What a beautiful little gem of a café. We came in for a little break while taking in the historical sites in the village. I had a really lovely oat milk flat white and poached eggs on sourdough which both really hit the spot. My parents each had a hot drink and shared a very generous slab of orange drizzle cake which my mum described as "scrumptious". The staff were very friendly and attentive at all times. I would go as far to say that any visit to Castle Acle wouldn't be completenl without a stop at Wittles!

A lovely find in a beautiful location, with excellent friendly service. We only had tea and coffee served at the outside tables (sadly served in paper cups - the only slight negative). However the tranquility, and swift service with a smile made up for this. There seemed to be an extensive picnic/take out menu and also a good sit-down menu at the indoor cafe. There is ramped access to the cafe for peop with limited mobility, but steps to the shop, though I’m sure the attendant would come to the door to take orders. Well worth a visit.
