Tgi Fridays

I'll be honest, I haven't been to Friday's in years because of bad experience. We decided to give it another chance and let than the restaurant being a bit too warm, everything was great! Good was good, drinks were cold and our waitress was very nice. I like the addition of Beyond burgers too! Being a vegetarian I was worried the wouldn't be much of a variety for me. I was pleasantly surprised!

I typically don't like going to restaurants that I haven't been to in a long time because there's always a big possibility that their food or service could have downgraded in between now and then, and this place has sadly proved my point. The place seemed very disorganized from the beginning, because there was no one to greet you at the front, and no one knows that you're there until you've made the crucial decision to either just walk in or turn around to leave. We should have turned around and left. Once we finally had out seats it took over an hour for our food to be brought to the table in an almost empty restaurant. I thought it was odd how the waiter brought us our drinks in between his hands and not on a coaster. Our food was room temperature. Dried out chicken wings. Canned mac n' cheese. No blue cheese left. We had to eat chicken wings with salad dressing. Everyone, including the cook seemed to be more interested in what was going on on TV since it was the Super Bowl, then they were in pleasing their customers. The bill shouldn't have been as high as it was for that low quality of food and service.

Waitress was okay but the food preparation time was horrible.. The coffee was served cold. We were told they were sorry that our order was taking so long but they were waiting on the french fries for my granddaughter's hamberger. Then when the food was brought to us her order was not included because we were told this time they were waiting for her hamburger to be done. The chicken on my salad was burnt. In all it was the worst time I've ever had at a Fridays the manager did come to us and speak to us about the problem she did credit us for the salad and the hamburger which was nice for her to do but our family doesn't often get a chance to go out to dinner together and this ruined what should have been a special occasion for us I do not believe we will be going back there in the near future or for that matter at all.

The wait wasn't bad, but the service was terrible! We got our apps which were good, but then when we were served our food all of our plates came out except my husband's which took an extra 10 min. Then my burger was burned and sent back. The the manager came and apologized. When we got the check we realized I was charged twice for the burnt burger and again for the same meal, no apologies no anything. If I had not realized the mistake I would have paid double for a burger that wasn't even that great. I'm sorry but I will never go there again.

If like to start out by saying that our server was wonderful!! My review is NO reflection on her. My friend and I went to TGI Fridays expction to find their usual "lunch" option. Apparently the Powers a be decided to do away with this popular option. We were told the day before people walked out after heading that. I wish we had done the same. Our cheddar broccoli soup arrived like warm at best and the want even an option to buy some bread and butter to go along with it. I seriously doubt I'll return to Fridays--definitely NOT for lunch. We felt very sorry for our server as she was the only one there to cover the dining room area and one other girl was there handling the bar and seating. Not good!!!
