I love their decor and wanted to try their coffee for a while. Interior and exterior are both very cute. They seem to have the cutest brunch area as well. I only ordered a oatmilk cappuccino here so can’t speak for anything else. The cappuccino was okay - I didn’t like the after taste. My friends in the area did not love their coffee as well. The small oat cappuccino was $5.17. Their bakery smelled really good but I didn’t try it.

I’ve been a frequent and returning customer of East One for years. Their roastery is top tier and their coffee ranks among the best in the city. That’s why I return. They could EASILY be a 5 star establishment but their service is just so poor. The employees are often cold and aloof. I’ve been coming for years and it remains the same so this seems to be a consistent culture rather than one or two employees. Many of the positive and negative reviews all mention that the service NEEDS to be improved. Also let me be clear: I think this is a management problem NOT an employee problem. The problem is so consistent that it surely comes from the management and can only be solved by the management. Coffee: incredible Service: bad Also a small glass of chilled sparkling water should be standard with all orders of espresso ;)

This is one of the most wonderful places to have brunch in the neighborhood. I highly recommend the cappuccino, carnitas hash, mac n cheese or the salmon on toast. Every item my family and I have tried has been high quality. The staff are attentive and the room is beautifully lit with natural light. Simply wonderful.
