Great key lime pies in a cozy and unique location in Brooklyn. If you like running, you’ll often see some groups of runners ending their weekend long runs at Steve’s so they can grab a delicious and refreshing Swingle—a must-eat treat!

One of the best Key lime pies you will find in life. Mine was shipped to Key West. Steve nailed the tartness and the crust was perfect. Real juice from real Key limes makes a difference. Put a slice on your bucket list if you want to taste an authentic version of the classic.

BEST KEY LIME PIE in the north. I look forward to it and ALWAYS stop by when I'm in Red Hook. The location also has some amazing views. I love it here.

I came to Steve’s Authentic Key Lime Pie on a windy, Monday afternoon. There was barely a soul in sight. I had heard wonderful things about this establishment and was intrigued to try one of the key lime pies. I arrived with nothing but my bike, my drawstring backpack carrying my water bottle, bike lock, and Haruki Murakami’s “Kafka on the Shore.” I ordered my personal key lime pie and small hot coffee (with milk and sugar of course) and sat down on one of the charming picnic tables to chow down. I was particularly moved by the delightful combination of the key lime filling’s tartness and the crust’s cinnamon and sugar spices. I felt a deep sense of appreciation for the craft of this pie, the wind upon my skin, and the lovely little chat I had with the young lady who served me. I had a wonderful experience here, and most likely, you will too. I was fueled and inspired on my bike ride back home and I slept the best I have slept in months. Thank you, Steve.

The swingle is great! Key lime pie covered in chocolate on a stick! So inventive and delicious! Watch the sunset while enjoying Key West flavors in Red Hook

Super cute place hidden away in Brooklyn. A few picnic tables set up for window service. Only a few items on the menu. We got the small keylime tart and the classic chocolate covered keylime pie. You prefer the tart vs the chocolate covered swingle but both are good. Get one and take a walk by the water.

The personal pies were a perfect size and delicious! More of a key lime custard filling.

I've been here a few times. I'm not really a pie person but Steve's Key Lime Pies can definitely change that. The pies come in various sizes. The Key Lime filling is tart with the right amount of sweetness and the crust is delicious. Lately I've gotten the Swingle which is a frozen small version of the pie, on a stick. It has the Key Lime filling and crust and it also has Raspberry and it is covered in either Chocolate or White Chocolate. I've had both. They are 😋. I haven't been inside the store since the 1st time I was there. It was small but the decor was cool. Since then I order at the window and sit at the picnic tables they have outside. You can also take it to Louis J. Valentino Park, which is just a step or two away. The prices are fair. I highly recommend this as a stop in Red Hook. I do not know the person in the pic but I wanted to show the outside of Steve's.

If you can’t grab a PJ to Key West this is the best you will find outside of the sunshine state. Be sure to grab a mini and roll over to the neighborhood park on the water and pretend you see manatee and Cuba off in the distance. It’s actually lady liberty so there will by irony in that move.
