We had a great table inside at the front of the cafe. It was busy with a fun, holiday vibe. The server was friendly and efficient. Plates of food came out looking and smelling amazing with generous portions. The Meze platter was fantastic... always love having a little bit of everything to try. The lamb chops were packed with flavour and grilled to perfection, prawns on the skewer were succulant, coating on the squid nice and crunchy... everything was delicious! Thanks for a lovely venue for lunch with the girls ☺️

Not too crowded. Menu had the standard brekky selections. Mr Benedict was great & a decent price. Coffee was amazing, service was impeccable. It has been a long time since I've been to Cafe Beach Pit, used to go there all the time years ago, glad to see the quality & service hasn't changed. Keep up the good work all

11/10. Went here with my family tonight, and it was an awesome dinner. Reception was fantastic and the foods were delish! It’s honestly so delightful when the servers are friendly and respectful. I would like to thank the server tonight who ran towards us bringing my dad’s beloved beanie. We were a store away when we realised we forgot it on our table. Whoever you are, thank you! My family and I had an enjoyable evening.

Dropped in for brunch today (Easter Monday) after looking at menus & table space on the strip. Although they were very busy, they gave us a “reserved” table as we would be done in plenty of time before the reserved party arrived. The offerings were very traditional, nothing fancy or twee, but executed well and presented attractively, and reasonably priced. My 2 poached eggs on grilled ciabatta was perfection with the yolks exactly right, not too runny and not too cooked. My companions each had a big breakfast, and they were also pleased with their selections. Coffee was good too. And the barista was an efficiency machine, pulling one coffee after another! An older lady - the owner? - kept an eagle eye on operations and greeted obviously regular customers of the same vintage with a smile and a friendly word. This mutual and genuine warmth was pleasing to see. Unlike many of the cafes on the strip, Cafe Beach Pit also offered toilet facilities to patrons. These were spotlessly clean and were very much appreciated. Thank you!

Delicious food and great service. We had a large Aussie pizza and the lamb backstrap. Servings are very generous and the lamb was mouthwatering. Great dining if you are in the area

We have been regular customers that have returned despite having found a grub in our salad and on another occasion plastic in our orange juice. Tonight we went to find the front counter lady blew her nose and tucked her dirty used tissue back into her sleeve. She then proceeded to tear the receipt from the cash register without sanitizing or hand washing. I doubt now we will return as we waited ages for our pizzas and chips despite the cafe not appearing busy. This is disappointing. When a staff member spoke to the lady she said she felt sorry for me! I replied and made it clear not to feel sorry for me, there are guidelines set out by the health department not myself that need to be adhered to, to meet food handling standards. And yes, the lady did wander out the back into the kitchen to assist with the pizza boxes. The experience has put me off as it’s not appreciated for cafe staff to be complacent or blasé in this current covid crisis.
