Very small and cozy place. Great atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. We ordered the "Pork Schnitzel Sandwich" and "Breakfast Polenta". The Schnitzel Sandwich was delicious, really well complimented by the apple slaw. The portion size was a bit small for the price (£~14). For that portion I would expect a price closer to £9-11.00 The Breakfast Polenta was delicious and I recommend it unreservedly. ✨ The water glasses smelled a bit, probably due to a dirty drying cloth. But not a deal breaker. It was very busy when we visited. Overall 10/10 recommended 🌟🌟

Sugardough Bakery offers a charming atmosphere, complemented by pleasant music and exceptionally friendly staff. During my visit, I ordered a latte and their "eggy croissant" French toast, which arrived promptly. The French toast was delicious and presented beautifully, though the price, £13.50, felt excessive for essentially a croissant. Additionally, the £3 charge for bacon seemed steep. While the overall experience was enjoyable, the high prices may deter some customers.

Lovely small cafe located in market street Brighton . Very welcoming . Popped in on Thursday afternoon . Great service , coffee and the orange and eucalyotys tea pot are divine A bit pricey for tea and coffee plus cake . But a real afternoon treat .

Best coconut milk cappuccino of our long journey! The croissant French toast and scrambled egg brunch were so so good! No exaggeration. Watermelon punch was a refreshing note to end on.

Sat outside for breakfast with my boyfriend. Our server Wicky (I hope I’ve spelt that right!) was so lovely and accommodating, and was super friendly. Our food arrived so quickly and was soooo yummy! I had the crumpet florentine and my boyfriend had the French toast with bacon and they were both delicious! As two people who work in coffee shops we were also very delighted by the coffee ☕️

If I could give more stars I would. I love this place so much I will definitely be coming back to brighton to come here again. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing, I love the little details in everything but its the waiters and waitresses that tie it all together. The service was phenomenal. The food was the cherry on top. Was so happy here cannot recommend this place enough! Props to the waitress with the curly hair she was so nice

Was just passing and this place looked nice so we popped in, had some tea and coffee, a soup and a slice of cake! They were out of a few of the cakes around 2pm so you should come early to get the best ones. We had the elderflower lemon and raspberry cake and it was alright. The carrot soup tasted really fresh and delicious, though I added salt to suit my own taste. Cute decór, loved the way they used different muffin and pie tins to decorate the walls. And the staff were nice. Food: 7.5/10 Service: 8.5/10 Decor/look: 9/10

Cute little café on The Lanes of Brighton. Lovely atmosphere inside with nice decor as well as a lovely view of the little streets if sitting outside. We just stopped for coffees but seems like a lovely place for some breakfast or cakes too and the staff were very friendly.

Delicious handmade bread, pastries, breakie. Coffee is strong & delicious. The cheese toastie, throw in some bacon, so morish. Pick & mix your favourite options for breakfast, avocado, poached eggs plus sourdough bread. Back again in July 2021 & 2022 and still my favourite breakfast place in Brighton.
