Nice small cafe to the roadside. Friendly staff with a view of road and town. Had breakfast over here around July-august after no restriction and 1st snow trip. Food was good with the quality, but the amount served per dish is not enough for the value paid. It can surely get more food. Ordered veggie breakfast and was nice

Food is not bad, just a bit ordinary compared to the neighbours.  Service is not impressive.  The bar seating is an issue.  Fixed bar stool without footrest is torturing people with lower back pain like me.  Footrest at the table side is not a cure. Fortunately I find a firewood next to the table.  My little girl was not that lucky and sha has her legs dangling all the time. To top that up, she is too far from the table.  Half of her meal ended up on the floor.  We were denied of a table change.  Having read the other comments, I am not surprised for how we were treated.

Coffee is great but service leaves bitter aftertaste. First time in Bright, took the kids to the nearby playground and saw this place looked like a good spot for a quick takeaway coffee. Upon first stepping in I was greeted by a waitress impatiently pushing past me and rudely telling me I need to get out of the way which was just bizarre given I was not in the way and was in fact standing at the sign that says “stop and wait to be served”. Upon checking out other reviews it seems this is a common occurrence and clearly more needs to be done to improve their staff customer service skills which is a shame since the coffee was actually decent!

We were there on the last day of our holiday in Bright and it was a busy morning at the cafe. Waited outside to get seating it did not take awfully long. The food was average. I asked if my rather expensive $24 big breakfast can have the poached eggs swapped to scrambled eggs but the waitress said the kitchen doesn't have the means to do so...we ordered some beverages as well even though we were not given the beverage menu. We were shocked that the hot water i asked for was charged a whopping $3!!! It was not mentioned that hot water is chargeable and we were not shown the menu nor can find the beverage menu online. We wonder if Bright is having a drought?? We could have collected some fresh water from Mount Buffalo instead. We have been dining out almost every day and I asked for hot water at every dining place but never have one charged money for it. Can't help but feel ripped off for that hot water after spending almost a $100 there.

After seeing the cues we decided that this was a must visit spot for breakfast . Neither of us were disappointed. The Rosti breakfast was amazing. Two poached eggs with hollandaise sauce sat on two crispy potato patties all on bacon. For $19 I’ll have this every time. SWMBO had ‘the onesie’ Poached egg, tomato and bacon on toast. Perfect for the light eater and a low $12. The cappuccino was nice and the juice fresh. Staff are super friendly and the ambiance of the restaurant is lovely. Highly recommended we will be back.

Been to this venue several times and every time I am disappointed. The scenery etc is nice, but the pretentiousness of the staff is obscene. This time I decided to order two take away coffees and figured what could go wrong? After making my order I started walking to the bathroom and was approached by a waiter who refused and said "bathrooms are for dining customers only" and informed me to wait outside for my order. Spend your money at a venue that treats people with decency. If your toilet is too precious for my bum then my dollar is too precious for your establishment.
