Bojangles

I visited this Bojangles around 11 this morning. A little bit of a line but it was moving. Guy who took my order was on point. courteous. Clear communication. The lady at the window although clearly very busy was very courteous as well. I had read several negative comments prior to going but thought I'd see for myself and was so glad I did. Food delicious.

My wife and I stopped here for a late lunch sandwich thru the drive thru and with only one vehicle ahead of us we waited in line for :20 minutes before getting to the window to pay. Once we paid we ended up waiting an additional :20 minutes. When our food arrived we were pushing late with an appointment at a local tax preparer so we decided to eat as I rushed to get there after calling to alert them I'd be slightly late. As we bit into the sandwiches we both realized they were cold. I mean, not even the slightest of warmth. We were both needing to get something on our stomachs because of medication and we ate them wishing we had ample time to return them. We'll avoid going to this location in the future.

The food was mediocre at best today. Some of the food was cold. The fries were stale tasting. There was hair in food. One of the workers were complaining about us being there because we had like 13 people with us. We were very patient. The man at the register put his face in his hands as we were up there. They also fussed back and fourth loud enough with each other to the point where everyone in the restaurant could hear it. It was not a good experience at all.

First let me state this is the first and last time I ever visit a Bojanles. I took my grandson’s there and we went thru the drive thru. I was ordering what my grandson’s were telling me they wanted. They have been there before the lady was yelling at me cause I ordered two of the same thing but not together. When I got to the window to pay I apologized and told her I was sorry and that I had never been there before so I was just ordering what my grandson’s wanted. She just snubbed me. Wouldn’t acknowledge that I was even speaking to her. I know places like this are short staffed but there was no reason to be rude. Plus the food wasn’t what they clam it to be. I’d rather eat at a KFC then at bojangles!

Holy cow, this place was filthy. I wanted to leave about 3 seconds after walking in the door, but my husband was determined to have chicken for dinner. We waited about 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged as standing in front of the cash register. Then I saw a server, take the scoop out of the rice, give it a shake, and then scoop out my cole slaw with it. I will never return...if my husband wants chicken he is on his own.

Lettuce wasn't just wilted it was black and soggy. Took it off and found fuzz on my cheese most likely from a black apron the cook was wearing. The service has been less than stellar majority of the time I have been there. I like their chicken but unfortunately I won't be returning any time in the near future.
