This is the best Korean restaurant in Bournemouth, there are around 3-4 in the area but if you want real traditional Korean food this is the place to be. Its location is perfect as it is in Charminster which is close to Bournemouth town and castle point. The prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend the Korean BBQ which is on offer here!

Loved coming here for a nice dinner, host was very accommodating and answered all our curiosities about the dishes also did give recommendations and made us feel very welcome! Will definitely come back again, everything we had was delicious and the side dishes were surprisingly flavourful!

We had not eaten Korean food previously and were delighted with the dishes we chose, especially the appetizers. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, so a good experience overall. We'll be back to try more dishes!

Me and my friend tried the Budae jjigae , steamed rice and strawberry flavoured soju with kimchi. The rice you have to order separately and one was enough for both of us. The food was so tasty and mouth watering. Kimchi was so delicious. The quantity and the quality was both more than good and it's worth for the price. The staff was really nice and welcoming. Atmosphere was so peaceful and pleasant. I would highly recommend this restaurant as well as the food specifically the dish we tried. It was 10/10❤️ I would definitely go back to try more dishes.

Went for dinner with a few friends having passed Maru a few times in the past. We absolutely loved our experience. The staff were really welcoming as soon as we arrived and were happy to answer questions about Korean dishes.
I'd recommend the Beef Bulgogi and the spicy chicken balls. The Bibimbap was also a crowd pleaser. We'll definitely be visiting again in the future!
