Exceptional dining experience! The food at Rail Stop is simply amazing—each dish was incredible. What made the evening even more special was our waiter, Sam. His service was top-notch—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Sam went out of his way to make our visit memorable even when the restaurant was crazy busy! Highly recommend both the restaurant and our fantastic waiter! Will definitely be back.

In town visiting colleges with my daughter and stopped for lunch. By far one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Service was top notch, drinks on point, decor was great as well. We travel a lot for sports and always try to find funky fresh eats and this place deserves 6 stars so you stop searching and head in.

Rail Stop is a large stunningly beautiful casual bar and restaurant with good food and atmosphere. The last time I visited was a very busy Saturday night, and had I not been here prior having had very good experiences , probably would have given it 3 stars. The food here is normally very good, especially for the prices. On my last visit I found the food to be incredibly fresh, but lacking in flavor. The tuna in the tuna tartar was plentiful and delicious, but was bland. The salmon burger was kind of dry and also bland, as was the regular burger. The truffle fries are outstanding. I am not usually a fan of the "fake" truffle oil dishes, but their truffle fries are outstanding. They were served piping hot straight out of the fryer. The service was lacking this night, despite a very attentive restaurant manager who was actively watching everything and speaking with diners. As I mentioned above, this place is enormous so on a busy night the Rail Stop is literally serving hundreds of people at a time. The food will likely be average and the service will be below average. Again, not for a lack of trying. If you really want to try this place at it's best, I suggest going for lunch or on a weekday night. If you are ok with the scene over food/service, I definitely wouldnt hestitate to go on a rocking night.

Great ambiance, lovely food, exemplary service. The lobster Roll was divine. Calamari brilliantly crisp that it just cracks in the mouth Rail Stop Burger just melts in the mouth, Ceaser salad rich and filling , the Beer- allagash white soft and smooth , lunch was a wholesome experience. Now why only 4 stars? I am sure they can make it even more heavenly

Love coming here, the ambiance is nice. The food is great and the price is right. I like to go check out New a balance Global Store next door then come for lunch or dinner at this restaurant. The servers are energetic and always lively. I really like looking at the bar it’s very cool. This place is good to come with a date, family, or friends. The calamari is so good, it’s my favorite!

Nice restaurant, ample seating, wait staff is very patient and helpful. Nice decor. Food is delicious. We ordered Mac n cheese and Chicken fingers for kids and they loved it. We ordered firecracker shrimp for starters, it was delicious. “Roasted Atlantic Salmon” was perfectly cooked and the white cream sauce was sweetly yummy. I also ordered “Lobster Roll” which again was very nice but the lime juice in the bread was on the higher side and was overpowering the whole lobster taste. 1 less star for that. They have great selection of cocktails which I didn’t realize as they gave only one drink menu for our table. I realized it after ordering my beer. I wish the wait staff have given separate drinks menu or informed the guests about their cocktail selection. Parking is available on street and in the parking garage. Imp: right now it’s mandatory to show your vaccination card before entering, so please don’t forget it at home.

We live nearby and have wanted to try out the brunch menu here at Rail Stop. First impression is very good as the interior decor exudes a very relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. We went at around 1:30 and it wasn’t too busy and we were seated right away. The service was friendly but my only gripe is that it took a while for food and drinks to come out. The food itself was somewhat worth the wait. The portion size was underwhelming for my steak and eggs. The size of the steak was not worth the $17 they charge for it, and it also was still a bit bloody as it ran into my eggs. It had a great flavor though with the chive hollandaise. The roasted potatoes were good too as it soaked up some of the hollandaise sauce. My friend who got the brunch burger looked like he got the better end of selection as it looked perfectly cooked and portion-wise was very on point. The truffle fries that came with it were to die for as well. Ultimately I think I will be coming back here as a regular as I am interested in the other selections they have for brunch.
