Fill-up With Billups Biloxi

Shout out to Victoria who was a great server even though we got there close to closing. The Island mimosa was lovely— a great start to what turned out to be a stupendous meal. I had the smash burger as a salad (wouldn’t add cheese again). The cheese on my burger was a little odd— I ordered white American but had a few random bits of yellow American. Still don’t know what that was about. My partner had the fried steak and eggs with a giant cat head biscuit. All in all, a pretty solid meal with a great drink.

Oh man...where do I start? How about the wait. 25 minutes to an hour. Ok, No problem. That wait turned into an hour and twenty minutes. But at least we got to wait upstairs at the bar. Bartender was adorable and made for great small talk. Once we were finally seated and ordered it was well past another two hours before we got our food. Our poor waitress came back to inform us that there was a problem with the waffle maker. But she was going to give us a discount for our wait. Holy rusted metal batman, The order was wrong when it finally made it to our table. Don't recommend the waffle burger thing. We arrived at 10:15am, It was after 1 by the time we got out of there and didn't even get to eat. Had to get it to go and get to the drive home. Sorry guys, hope you get those waffle makers fixed.🥺

The hostess was all over the place and kept telling everyone she was one person doing the work of four people. There was one couple in front of us to put their name down, and another walked up after us. She took down the couple that walked up after us. We were told the wait would be about an hour. It ended up being only 30 minutes. Our server was Dylan (Dillon?), and he was excellent. While we were waiting for our food, we observed that some of the other waitstaff were struggling with managing their tables, so I think we got lucky. Some tables were waiting for a while just to have their drink order taken. The food was okay. The Sun Up seemed a bit skimpy on the amount of food you get. The catfish biscuit that comes with it is just a really large biscuit. They’re made in-house every day. I thought it was mediocre. The cinnamon roll waffle was good but not amazing.

Great atmosphere and food. Has indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the road and the Beau Rivage. The must try’s are the mocha and vanilla iced coffees with the chicken and waffles. Also you can split their biscuits between 2 people and don’t forget the homemade strawberry jelly. Shout out to our waiter Shaundale for excellent service and a absolutely fantastic attitude that made the experience that much better.

Service was awesome. Shaundale was our server and she was on point. She helped make our selection easy. She had drink refills for us before we were empty!!!! She literally had a Smile on her face the whole time!!! The food was delicious as well!!! Shaundale made our first experience here a great one!!! We will return!!!
