Pizza Hut

First off, the delivery driver was super-friendly and awesome; this review in no way reflects upon his actions. But, this Pizza Hut (store # 035110), in Benton, LA, has a long history of "simple mistakes" from the kitchen in my experience; while I can generally forgive the occasional singular, simple mistake, why I continue to grant second chances over and over again is a mystery, but that's my problem. Pizza Hut's problem here, however, is a simple lack of attention to simple detail (as per the order ticket that prints off). Tonight I ordered (online) and was very specific: a large stuffed crust meat lover's pizza with Hut Favorite crust flavor sprinkles, 16 boneless wings, cheese sticks, and three ranch dipping sauces. What I received, however, was a large non-stuffed crust meat lover's pizza with BBQ sauce, no Hut Favorite crust flavor sprinkles, and only one ranch dipping sauce. So, by paying extra for the stuffed crust (+$2.18) and the two extra ranch dipping sauces (+$1.29), and getting BBQ sauce instead of the standard marinara sauce, I was out nearly $3.50 and a traditional pizza experience. I decided to actually call this time (due to the numerous mistakes) to voice my displeasure to the management and determine how to rectify the situation (I used to be an assistant manager at a Pizza Hut, so I know they're generally willing to help a customer and fix their issue). However, once somebody finally answered the phone after 3-4 minutes, they spoke with an accent, and way too fast; sounded like Spanish, and I barely caught but a couple of maybe-English words. I shirked it off and politely asked to speak with a manager and was told something that I could not understand -- again, too fast and with an accent that prevented proper communication with a customer (just because they’re in a hurry or busy doesn’t mean they should treat customers that way). Before I could ask her to repeat it, she put me on hold again. So, I decided I'd just try to stay calm and wait for the manager. I did, and I did some more, and I did for even longer...for 20 more minutes listening to the repetitious advertisements without any courtesy or semblance of customer service. Eventually, I hung up the phone and decided to take to the online review process instead of driving up there to confront them. So, I'm gonna give this online review process a chance to play out and see what kind of response I get, and whether or not Pizza Hut actually reads reviews and cares about their customer service (or lack thereof). They get a 2-star review pending outcome; could go up or down from here, and the ball's in their court.
