The quality of Food was great with different varieties but the service was not upto the mark. The re-filling for the food meant for buffet was not as fast as expected..it was too slow may be due to lack of staff ..Buffet price on a weekday is charged at Rs 750/- per head so we expect the service also to be good when we pay for it.

I had enjoyed this restaurant pre Covid. I'm glad that they are back after a lengthy break. We went on a weekend and tried a la carte. The paneer dishes, soup and starters were really tasty. On the way out we noticed that they were offering a buy one get one offer on the weekday buffet. We ended up returning with a big group of 25 for dinner after a get together. We thoroughly enjoyed the selections on offer and felt it was a steal with the offer. Highly recommend visiting this on a weekday.

We visited here on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded much when we visited and. We got a seat of our choice. We had the following: Roasted Masala Papad, Tomato Cheese Soup, Sholay Paneer Tikka, Baby Corn Tandoori Sizzler, Subzi La Jawab, Plain Roti and Butter Kulcha. In beverages, we had Amba Pana, Raspberry Mojito, Pineapple Shikanji, Ocean Blue, Pineapple Lassi and Midnight Beauty. Almost all the food items were served without much delay and tasted well also. The quantity was good too. The staff were also friendly and also obliged our request to convert the baby corn tikka to sizzler. The sizzler and the panner tikka were the highlight. The place got quite full by the time we were leaving. There is adjoining outlet of 1947 just for the buffet spread and the menu looked good there as well. Online app payment is accepted as well as Credit cards. Overall a good experience and a good option for those looking for pure vegetarian option.

Pure veg restaurant. Not too many veg items but good variety items are available. Paneer items are very softy. Few items are good and few were just average. Overall it’s a good restaurant to dine in with family and friends. For 1947 restaurant basement 2 will have parking space, during peak hours it’s difficult to get it but they have free parking space.

1947 is one of my favourite buffet places in Bangalore. Now this jayanagar outlet is revamped to a whole new look , also they have a ala carte and a special gastronomy section and a private or group dining space too. Very elegant and modern interiors with comfortable seating. Food here is amazing Stuffed paneer tikka and pizza is a must try. Loved the chats too like palak chaat, dahi papdi chaat and Pani puri. For starters we also tried crispy corn and momos. Veg sizzler and chocolate sizzler in desserts was good. In mocktails fruit punch and jaljeera was good. Main course malai kofta, mushroom sabji and cashew kurma with Indian breads was tasty. The desserts rasmalai, rasgulla, carrot halwa and jamun were delicious. Good service with a nice ambience.
