Hudsons Coffee

What happened to being greeted as you walk in. Today I had a couple of girls chatting, when they should have been working, and flippantly said to sit anywhere. Tables not clean. Then i got a completely different meal to what asked and paid for. Coffee was mediocre. Has this place gone downhill. K Flat way better for food and service.

Went on Good Friday, quite busy. Bit of a wait for meals, all 3 of which came out at different stages. Brought wrong dish out, vegan meal wasn't vegan. Further wait. Coffee average. Food adequate. Friendly service. Quite loud dining inside. Probably won't return as these franchises don't have much soul, but being a pub hol we had little choice.

This place used to be so good to go to before watching a movie down the road at the cinema, what happened? The food took almost an hour to get to us, not a single waiter came up to us to take our order so we had go find one ourselves. Once the food got there we found eyelashes, hairs and bugs IN our actual food... This happened on numerous occasion not going back, sorry

Staff were friendly and helpful, even during a public holiday rush. Unfortunately the food and drink did not live up to expectations. We ordered flat whites, but they turned out to be some of the weakest coffees we have ever experienced. They tasted like watered down hot milk. The food was generally bland, but the worst offenders were some chips that had been cooked from potatoes that had gone off. These were not fit for human consumption. All in all, good staff but poor food. Perhaps we were unlucky, but not likely to try again.

Left after an HOURS wait for brekky, with 4 starving kids. The staff were nice and did apologise but did not offer to speed up our order, saying we STILL had a 15min wait ahead !! But then did charge us for the 2 coffees that did arrive....very poor. They should warn customers (esp with small kids) that they have a very long wait ahead before they take the orders.

Ordered breakfast and a coffee dining in. Got a coffee in a take away cup and breakfast was reasonable apart from the undercooked mushrooms and cold bacon. The kicker is on public holidays they charge 15% extra and for the amount of money spent it could have been a lot better experience. Very disappointing.

If I could give this less than one star I would. Went in to order (and paid for) 2x take away frappes @$15.40. Asked for a glass of water. Was told no because they are for dine in customers only. I have worked in and managed hotels and pubs for my entire life and never have I heard of such a rubbish policy. I asked to speak with the manager, met with a very curt "I am the manager". I think your manager could do with better customer service and complaint handling training. Appalling service and appalling policy. We regularly purchase takeaway and uber eats from your cafe and I won't be back. I requested a refund and went down the road to the Brewhouse Cafe and got a similar order, with great service and included them offering us water whilst we waited!
