We had the pleasure of visiting Bandook Indian Restaurant for my father's birthday, and it was a memorable experience. The food was exceptional, offering a delightful range of flavors that left us thoroughly satisfied.
What truly stood out was the impeccable service we received. The staff were attentive and courteous, making us feel truly welcomed. As a thoughtful gesture, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert and a lively birthday message, which added a personal touch to the celebration.

Literally the best curry I’ve had since leaving Bombay
Bottomless brunch champagne is worth every penny.

Must visit if you want to taste some authentic Indian food along with amazing hospitality.
We (5) tried Lamb Chops (2 per order), Tandoori Chicken (1/2), Railway Lamb Curry with Bread Basket, Tandoori Roti and Masala Dosa (3 mini dosas served as Tacos).

The food was good and the service fairly attentive. The lamb chops, crispy bhindi, parantha/ naan and house daal were great. The tandoori chicken was dry, which was disappointing. It’s a good restaurant but there’s room for improvement. Reminiscent of the fabulous Dishoom restaurants!

Amazing restaurant in Bath! Having lived here for the past three years I can honestly say it is by far the best restaurant I have dined in. The food, atmosphere and service are exceptional! I ate there on Tuesday with my husband for our anniversary and we are so impressed that we are going next week.

Fabulous food at surprisingly reasonable prices. The different chaat dishes are very good. So was everything else that six of us shared. Highly recommended.

Food was lovely and the service was really good too. There is a range of different options to choose from - some quite unique and unheard of in other Indian restaurants.
The portion sizes are fairly on the smaller size when you take price into consideration.

What a great place, the food was amazing, some really interesting dishes. Washed down with a great choice of wine. I had the grandma chicken which was ace. Service was great too. The popadoms were completely unique. I’ll add a picture. Lovely place.

Recommended by friends to come here and would thoroughly recommend to everyone else. Easy to book online, a comfortable interior and welcoming attentive staff. Really felt looked after whilst being there. We had a main curry with rice and three of the smaller plates between two of us which was just right, all being really enjoyable and with good flavours. Would also recommend the english garden punch teapot cocktail. The servers overheard it was my partner's birthday and upon bringing out dessert had the chef write 'happy birthday' on the plate too which was a total surprise and very thoughtful.
We will definitely return, I can imagine a drink and food on the outdoor seating in the sunshine to be fab.
