Our first visit here and it was a wonderful experience. From the salsa and bean dip to our dinners, everything was tasty and well presented. The cream sauce with my shrimp and fish dish was excellent as was the grilled summer squash and zucchini. My wife said the flan was so tasty. The interior is impressive and festive. I’m sure we’ll be back often. The parking lot is busy and crowded so timing matters it seems. We’re early diners so there was plenty of room but by the time we walked out spots were at a premium.

This place is very good. Visiting from out of state (from Colorado) and gotta be honest this might be the best Mexican food I've ever had. So glad that my father (who lives 30 minutes from here) decided to bring me here for dinner.

The staff was very friendly. Our server Xavier was very attentive and seemed like a cool guy (he made some killer salsa for us as well. I like how when you first get there they spice the salsa up in front of you before they serve it depending on what level of spice that you like.

Been on a diet/weight loss journey the last 6 months and decided to dedicate one of my cheat days to this place and soo happy that I did. I'll 100% be back here next time I'm in the area. Absolutely phenomenal food. HIGHLY recomend! 👏

The food was amazingly great! The salsa omg! It's so good and tasty with tricolor chips. I was a bit disappointed with my order cus I didn't get what I ordered but overall everything was good , I'll definitely visit this restaurant again .

The food was incredible. It's a little our of the ways if you like in Austin, but it's well worth the trip. Everything was clean and delicious. Fresh salsa was amazing and the horchata was delicious. I got mole and it was the right amount of spice to keep it interesting without being overbearing.

Good menu options including mole and cochinita pibil. We ordered the chile relleno and the delicious Pina de la Costa. Very attentive wait staff kept up with our drinks and made sure we had what we wanted.

This is the best Mexican food in the area by far. If you can find a little convenience store called Buc-ee's in Bastrop, then you will find, just north, the best Mexican in town. The prices are great for the amount of food that is delivered. If you walk out hungry, it will be your own fault.

The few times I've gone the food is always hot and the service is excellent! I recommend the mole enchiladas and the Agua de piña 😊
