Me and my daughter went to the wakey warehouse and the children really enjoyed themselves, even had their face painted which was really cheap. The staff were brilliant and really helpful, will definitely be going again.

Not a bad local pub. Plenty of room and popular for families with activity soft play area and small outdoor play area. There is an outdoor seating area which is popular on bank Holidays and weekends especially when the weather is warm. This place can get busy. Decent selection of alcohol and bar type food with special offers on certain days. (Not the best food ive tasted but not too bad, the kids like it) There are booths inside with tvs for the kids to keep then entertained and a pool area which I believe dogs are accepted. This place accepts reservations.

Very impressed with the service and friendliness of the staff made a very good first impression on me and my son. Food was good and relatively quick. Very family friendly. A huge factor for us is that it was clean, especially the carpet. The waitrons didn't wipe table spillage on to the floor, no dirty napkins under the tables etc., that's a BIG thumbs up for me 👍

It was quite busy had to wait a long time which wasn't easy with 2 toddlers. I had steak which on arrival looked lovely but was actually very fatty brought it home for the dog so was disappointed. Only seemed to be 1 guy running around like a headless chicken felt sorry for him .This was on a Tuesday

Usually call every few weeks. Aways find food good and today was no exception, actually really moorish and fish was full and not all batter like most places. Other half had new yorker and as always devoured it all. Staff always helpful

Called here for breakfast while we waited for our car fixing over at Burrows Toyota. There were not many people in the pub so it was quiet. Service at the bar was quick and our food came in a good timeframe. The food was plentiful and was well cooked, though the bacon was overcooked in my opinion. Overall a nice breakfast.

For the price you pay the food is very good, standard pub grub, but decent. We had a family deal, two adult meals and two children’s meals (the kids meals included drink and dessert) for £15! Crazy cheap and good service. Visited on the way back from swimming, would make the decision to stop here again next time, thanks 😊

We come here quite alot and always enjoy the food and service we receive. Staff are always polite and friendly. This time there was a issue with my grandson ice-cream. We brought this to the attention of the staff. The ice-cream was quickly replaced and we got a free round of drinks with the manger coming over to apologise to us. Thank you for the way this was dealt with. We will be back next week.

Having been visiting the Chestnut Tree for more than 20 years now for children’s parties, pub quizzes, food and just drinks in general, I can genuinely say this is one of my favourite pubs. There are plenty of tables spread between a few areas (including outside for the warmer months) so even when it’s busy there’s usually some seating available before long. Service is generally prompt and the colleagues are always polite and helpful, and the food and drinks are decent and the prices are usually good too - made even better with some of the offers that are to be had sometimes! I can certainly see myself visiting for another 20+ years if the team continue to do what they’ve done for the past 20!
