Cook Out

Cookout is a very inexpensive mealtime option that can feed multiple people for a low price. I can eat twice off of 1 tray. Today, I ordered something different. A Big Double Burger Tray. - Burger: Cheddar Style no onions - 2 sides: Fries and Nuggets - Large Coke no Ice - Extra Fries and Extra 5 piece nugget. Here is what I received. Not sure how many nuggets come as a side. But 3 is acceptable unless it was supposed to be 5. All of this cost me around $13.

IMPRESSED! I ordered a small steak-style burger, onion rings, hush puppies, and a Coke float for $8.69. The old-style hamburger bun was soggy due to absorbing the liquid from the grilled onions, A-1 sauce, and mayo. I showed the bun to the manager and requested a fresh, dry bun. Instead, I received a fresh, deconstructed burger (see pic). Thank you, Cook Out, for a better-than-expected resolution!

Service has gone downhill in the past couple years. I used to come here a couple times a week, but the employees act annoyed to be there. I waited over 20 minutes after I arrived to the call box. After she flung my food at me, forgot my shake and my change, told me she didn't have bags, I told her I could see them and she finally gave me one. Then her and the manager refused to let me get BBQ sauce for my chicken sandwich bc it was in a box in the back and they were saving it for the closing shift. If the computer crashes that's uncontrollable but you can always be polite. They were not serving customer service tonight even after I waited for close to half an hour. I guess ima eat this dry sandwich and take my business elsewhere next time.

I had to drive an additional 40 minutes because they didn't give me my order in full. On top of the unnecessary drive i had to make to receive the rest of my order, when I get there, I didn't receive any kind of an apology for their blatant disregard of quality assurance. Quality assurance are not the responsibility of the customer. That is y'all's mistake, so own up to it.
