As one walks down the stairs of MUNSTER INN,. Central Auckland An eerie sensation flows down your backbone like entering a DUNGEON OF MONSTERS and witches as the music plays. Gradually as we reach the basement floor ground? a yell rings out JACPOT POT and pennies from heaven falls Through the slot machine. Beers on da house and so it was to enjoy such a pleasant afternoon at an IRISH BAR. as one sings IT'S A LONG WAY TO TIPPERARRIE . GOOD GRACIOUS GREAT BALLS OF FIRE. GREAT ATMOSPHERE. It is an easy fit to use in small groups as well as large groups. Beers are about $6 - 10 a pint, and there are about 6 different tap beers and numerous bottle beers to choose from.

Laid back Friendly staff, decent sized place so no climbing over 20 people to get to the bar. nice place for a couple cold beers and a tap on the pokies after a hard day at work.

This place is a riot. Was a bummer for covid. Usually however it has a good number of characters rolling through there. It really can be a dive bar at times. Also it can be full of thinkers. They got games. From the slot machines, to pool tables fuse ball and darts.

Any place that lets me get on stage to play and sing a song (thanks to the paid artist of the night that is), well, that's a place I like haha. To be honest I was happily surprised w the Irish pours and clean layout. It was extremely dead but I think it'd rather be here than Father Ted's upstairs.

I am here most Mondays and Tuesdays for the steak nights. Usually cooked well and tastes great. Otherwise it's a nice little pub that is out of the way and never too loud or busy. Love it
