Pondoro

Hmmm… pecan pie… and cronut. It’s really hard to find cronuts nowadays. Parking is easy but tricky if you’re unfamiliar of the location. For some reason, if coming from Parnell village by car, you can’t turn right at the traffic light to get to the street parking for Pandoro. Regardless, the food is yum and that’s what matters.

Recently visited Pandoro Panetteria in Parnell, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! This bakery truly captures the essence of a good bakery and offers a wide range of delicious treats that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. The moment I stepped into the bakery, I was greeted with the warm and inviting aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. The display case was a feast for the eyes, showcasing an array of beautifully crafted cakes, pastries, and pies. It was evident that the bakers here take great pride in their creations. However, I need to mention that it's not a truly authentic Italian bakery, more of a glorified New Zealand bakery. Steak pie was average with chewy meat, mince pie just fell apart but was 8/10.
