A great place for pre Concert eats and drinks, service a bit lacking, but then it is a bar, could do with more seats and bar staff @ busy times when they get crowed before a concert @ Spark Arena 😉

We went here for dinner before going to see Hamilton (the musical) at Spark Arena. Little bit nervous because past reviews mentioned late food and bad service, however it was nearby and easy access for mobility aids.
The servers were nice and accommodating during a busy time. The food arrived quickly, less than 10 minutes I reckon. It was good bar food though not a lot of vegetarian options. We spent a pleasant time eating, drinking, and chatting while the rugby played in the background. Then arrived at the show in plenty of time. Thanks team

Disappointing experience. I haven’t had a bad experience like this in awhile. When we walked in to the restaurant the waitress saw us but ignored, we had to walk up to her to tell her we had a booking. The food took AN HOUR to get to our table. One of the meals was too cold to eat and had some weird lamb patty that was meant to be a lamb shoulder as per the menu. When we gave feedback to the waitress, we were told the reason was that we ordered the steak which takes an hour to cook. I have never encounted a this in any other restaurants. Worst of all,<br/>we were I kid you not the only table in the restaurant at the time so theres no excuse. During the hour wait, no one thought to give us an update, or offered drinks etc while we wait, until we asked. We asked for more water for the table but it never came. There was no manager in sight and Chef was too busy to come out and have a chat. This place has the potential to do well due to its location but unfortunately it was a big let down for us, wasn’t a birthday celebration to remember.
I went to this Beautiful Cafe recently.

The Lady there,was nice.
Guy at the Front Desk was so helpful,with getting our free carpark sorted.
The Big Breakfast was really Scrummy.
I loved their version of Baked Beans/Chorizo.
Such a Beautiful Atmosphere.
Great Food,Good Company.
Loved it.

On a quiet night when there were no events happening at Spark Arena a perfect spot to relax and enjoy as in my case a shared special pizza with wine. A very efficient bar attendant/waitress , big tick to her :)
Only a 20 Street walk to our show Dita Von Tess at the Civic and back to our car via all the lights of Queen street

Delicious food and truly great coffee. There's a breakfast menu and a lunch menu, both are very good. Nice ambient with high ceilings, cozy, and offers outdoor seating as well. Staff is always friendly and professional, and you can also use their app to order coffee ahead and pick it up within minutes.

Got it on First Table and I’m happy we only paid First Table prices. Ny partner ordered the lamb which was very poorly presented and a little cold. The taste of the lamb shoulder was good though. I got the Yard pizza which was really good! And my friend got the Vegan burger which she said was very bland. Wouldn’t pay full price to eat here. Pizza star of the show!

Cafe next door to my workplace, only came here coz of convenience but very disappointed. Has good coffee, but the spicy chicken sub I ordered is not spicy and has no flavour at all - maybe they forgot to put salt in it? Was very disappointed.

We visited on Tuesday night, to get a quick meal before a concert at the stadium, the place was packed, which I can only attribute to the absolutely awful meals we were served. I had the Rump Steak - requested rare and this came medium (not happy) and the fat had not be rendered, in addition the potato gratin was raw as were the carrots. My partner got the Venison Burger, the patty was tasteless and I can't be sure what the dip for the sauce was but it had no flavor and smacked of some kind of mayo. The chips were underwhelming also. Service was friendly. If we weren't in a rush I would have spoken to the management about the state of the meal served. We both commented that we should have gone to subway which is located just down the road for half the cost. Needless to say we will not be returning and will not be recommending.

Totally underwhelmed,/unimpressed. I came here for lunch with friends. I ordered fish cakes which were dry and bland. The accompanying salad wasn't much to rave about either. My first bite left me thinking that my fishcakes I make at home are tastier. My two friends both ordered the fish and chips and considered it a waste of money. Half a plate was left behind by one. The other commented that the worst street chippy would be better than what he was served. Dry fish, greasy batter, and the chips looked and tasted like leftovers chucked back in the microwave or a quick reheat in the fryer.  <br/>It looks nice from the outside with clean lines and cushioned furniture, however, there is so much space they could have done with better placement or even smaller tables or chairs. I found myself having to walk around not only my own table but another one just to make it to my seat. If the place was busy it would be quite a bustle. The trainee waitress was trying her best, but with only two staff on she seemed to be a bit flustered, tables seemed to take awhile to be cleared and when the plates were gone, bottles and empty glasses were left behind. I haven't taken points off for her as she should have been managed a bit more. I wouldn't recommend this place or go back, I think my 2-star rating is a bit generous TBH.

Mood lighting, excellent service, not overcrowded with comfortably spaced seating where our dinner felt private and lavish. The food was delicious, though at 6pm on a Friday night they had no venison which appears to be poor stock management. Overall wonderful night!

Came here for lunch before a basketball game and experienced extremely slow service, they forgot about our coffee until we asked, and the Caesar salad was very low quality, with the extra $5 chicken added being the precooked shredded chicken you can buy from the supermarket, was quite disappointed. However it was super cheap and my $10 curry was not bad (but not super big)

Popped in for a quick drink before a concert and waited 15mins to be served as there were three people working at the bar but only one serving extremely slow. Not very friendly staff. Not a place I would recommend.

Thought we would have a drunk here while waiting for our concert to start. Shouldn't have bothered service was so slow. Got told cocktails were not available as they took 15 minutes to make. Weren't even playing any music so also lacked any vibe2

My friend and I called into this eatery before the Ronan Keating concert last Friday and were really not too impressed. Pizza's looked good (as per the couple next to our table) and on special before 7pm for $15. Drinks were expensive - $5 each for a lime(no juice or cordial) and soda in a medium glass. My friend ordered the Pizza which took her 15mins of waiting at the service counter to do so. Only ? two tills operating, so service spasmodic/slow and they should know better given the concert crowd pouring in. Tables were slow to clear as well. Finally the pizza arrived, it was lukewarm at best! and did not have the same amount of topping on it that the couple sitting next to us 1/2 an hour earlier had consumed. Will not be on my recommendation list.
