Had such a delightful brunch there today. The potato Rosti was so good and the plum and rhubarb tart was to die for! Service was great too, would highly recommend 🤙

Stumbled across this cute little bakery a few days ago the cheese n onion savoury was so tasty and the Swiss iced coffee was amazing . The young lady that served us was so friendly will definitely be going back again thank you

I never visit here often enough. Great food & service with a good number of options for breakfast and lunch plus excellent filled breads, croissants and even pretzels to eat there or take away. Newish open layout looks spacious, modernised & freshened up.

I had the Creamy Mushrooms with Bacon - Delicious! My sister had the Cafe Omelette with ham, cheese mushrooms& tomatoes. As she's a vegetarian, she requested that they not include the ham. The cook was kind enough to offer to replace it with spinach. My sister said that it was the best omelette ever! Good, friendly service, & clean, pleasant surroundings.

Ordered an Orange Almond cake for a friends birthday from Swiss Cafe. It was a great hit! Really moist, delicious flavour and nice decorations. All agreed it was best cake they had tasted. Have previously bought their chocolate tortes and chocolate logs - all excellent. Thanks 😁😁

One of my favourites. Real swiss cakes. Nice baguettes with lots of delicious fillings . never been disappointed. Only parking isn't easy as the cafe is always busy.

Good coffee and food, though the cabinets were a bit empty by the time we got there in the middle of an afternoon. Friendly staff and quick service. Lots of delicious treats in the chocolate cabinet and more in the pastry section. Limited off-street parking available. A good variety of tables indoors and outside.

An inviting place from the outside, can’t say the same for the food. Decent coffee, decent baked goods and decent service. I’d probably just go in to pick up some Swiss goodies in the future, not to dine in.

Can’t resist that Swiss! <br/>I was quite excited when I went here for the first time, but unfortunately we were on a rush so we just had takeaways. <br/><br/>I grabbed a hazelnut hat as it looked tempting and I’m glad it was yummy 😋. I love the pastry part of it.<br/><br/>The place was packed when we came, and it was around lunch time. Even if we decided to stay, we can’t really have a table for ourselves. <br/><br/>I just can’t wait to go back and enjoy their scrumptious meals. Table for two please!

I would travel across the globe for an iced chocolate from this place. They are without doubt the best iced chocolates in the world! Absolutely perfect! I went here again today with my girlfriend. Apart from the iced chocolates we also got the salmon rosti which was very nice and the hazelnut pyramid which was delicious. I am looking forward to eating here again and trying more of their pastry options. The staff were also very friendly. Definitely recommend trying this place, even if you only get the iced chocolate.

Stopped by in the afternoon to try their pastries. It looked like they did lunch but I didn't have time to sit down and eat so just picked up something from the counter. Went with a hazelnut pyramid which was interesting. the filling was almost marzipan like and the pastry was short and crispy. Quite an interesting pastry.

Had some nice takeaway food from here the other day. Have also eaten in a few times before and the food has always been good but find it quite small and busy so rather take the food home. My highlight from this lunch would have to be the custard dohnut. Everything tasted really nice and it's a good change from regular bakery food. If I was comparing to other bakeries I would give 4.5 star rating but given a lower rating as I would give a lower rating compared to other cafes. Highly recommend for a quick feed.

Nice place to pick up a pie or a pastry. Somewhat hidden across the road from Milford mall but good place to pick up some rolls or pies for lunch. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

The food at Swiss Bakery is always delicious. We have been eating here for the past fews years. In summer they make the best Strawberry Tarts in the world! I travel down from up north especially to get them they are so nice! Fabulous toasted sandwiches and delicious malty coffee. Service is always great and it is open early for breakfast every morning. Everything is freshly cooked on the premises and the quality of food never changes. Its always great!

Love this place! Prefer take out as it is usually busy and kitchen food isn't the fastest. Swiss coffees are to die for!! Also the pies and rolls are amazing. Visit here regularly :)

Fabulous coffee and quality food but a couple of the young ladies who are on the counter are sullen and seem irritated when called to the till. The rest of the team are pleasant and efficient. They are open 7 days until 3 or 4 on a Sunday which is appreciated.

We have been to this cafe twice within two months, and their service and food was consistantly GOOD! Loved their hot drinks, English Breakfast Tea is smooth and the Hot Chocolate was delicious not overly sweet. We ordered Salmon rosti and creamy mushroom on toast and both were excellent, the sauce for both dishes are to kill for! And the usual hazelnut hat and naughty boy (name of a biscuit) have the best short pastry I know in Auckland. Have taken to try out their German baked cheesecake for my birthday dinner tonight, no doubt it will be a big hit at the table... looking forward to another visit to the shore to dine there again!

Having spent time in Switzerland I was excited to find this cafe. They have a huge range of delicious treats and they are very authentic - some of the cakes I hadn't seen since I was in Basel and I never thought I could find them in NZ!<br/><br/>Reason for only 2 stars is that the service on all occasions has been very unfriendly. One gets the impression that serving is a chore and that they'd rather not have you there. The first time I went I remarked that I'd recently come back from Switzerland and recognised the cakes. The serving person said she didn't understand what I was saying. I said I was sorry I couldn't pronounce the name properly. She looked at me in such a condescending way like I was an absolute creton and didn't even answer. Then she gave me the coffee to take away when I'd asked to have it there. I took the hint...<br/>Sorry - I was just trying to be friendly and appreciative.<br/>It's a real shame but I feel a bit uncomfortable going there now - it's unwelcoming.

I have not had a meal there but often had a light lunch from their display case. It is always delicious and they have very good coffee. Great place!
