Excellent service, staff were friendly and polite, food was delicious and a hearty portion. Easy to customise the food to your unique tastes. Plenty of seating indoors or out, and decent background music.

Usual high Mexicali Fresh service and food quality. Nice atmosphere down on the waterfront. I like the fresh ingredients and even my picky boys love coming here when we get a chance

Love coming here for lunch during summer! Great spot with nice outdoor seating and fresh food packed full of flavour. Highly recommended!

A great Mexican restaurant, spacious, clean and well-located. I would recommend the charcoal chicken quesadilla along with a frozen margarita. Great views of the harbour and amazing food. The price is fair and you can also authentic Mexican food, cocktails and desserts. A nice place to bring friends or family. Highly recommended.

I personally love the food here. Being from Brazil, I often miss my hometown cuisine and Mexican food is some of the closest I can get. I’m a fan of their Taco Salads. This shop got a great space, a privileged location and a great staff.

Had the Mango Chicken Salad. Garlic & lime chargrilled chicken with fruit salsa and cumin lime vinaigrette. Delicious, fresh ingredients. Guacamole was tasty. Surprisingly authentic Cal-Mex food. Not spicy but big on flavor. Another in my party had a burrito which he thought was bland.

We've enjoyed a couple of locations of this chain of restaurants, but the Auckland branch has the advantage of a great location by the water. It also has a very pleasant interior. It's always so nice to have a relatively inexpensive and nice spot to enjoy lunch on the Viaduct.
