Best subs in Carteret County, and they are always so nice and accommodating! Place was packed on Labor Day weekend, and they still took great care of everyone and got us some amazing food! The owner makes awesome beach house decorations out of old surfboards, and he is a local legend!

This place is a local fixture in A.B. It's a classic sub-shop, so you'll find the things that you expected to find 20-30 years ago in a sandwich place.
Perfect in its simplicity.
Perfect bread, balanced meat, and cheese combinations.
The atmosphere is nice but you're not going to hang out there with the beach right outside the door.
We got the Italian and the Turkey. Both were excellent.

Our favorite place to stop and get lunch while at the beach. Charles even remembered us from last year! It was lovely chatting with him and eating delicious subs.

Went there today for subs for the beach. Ordered 4 different subs and they were all delicious!!! I would suggest getting ISLAND STYLE , will definitely be back

Subs were amazing!!!!! Hands down the best Italian sub I've had in a long time. The service was great. You could tell they actually enjoyed their jobs. Definitely will be our new normal spot.

I highly recommend the summer girl! it was so yummy. the staff is incredibly friendly!! indoor seating is nice especially at the table overlooking the NC State Garden. ice cream for desert!

Visiting for a week. Wanted a quick easy lunch one day and they did not disappoint. Always love hitting the local spots as opposed to chains.
Decent variety of choices. Def recommend getting it the “island way”. The extra tangy sauce and aolli made it a really tasty treat.
Very popular with the locals as they were very busy while we were there. Fast and friendly service and easy on the wallet!!!!

Really good subs! We had a quick lunch here through the week and it was worth it. We got a Cuban and Spicy Italian and loved them both. I would definitely go here again!
