The Sunflower

Anytime I go into The Sunflower I am always greeted with a smile and I never wait long for my order. They have many things to choose from drink and food wise. However, I always stick with the same thing. At this point they know my order and took the time to memorize it and ask if I want “the usual”. I love they they take the time to get to know their customers. It is a wonderful, well run, clean establishment and I have never had a bad experience here!

As a tourist this place is the right mix of modern city vibe and small town specialty. The prices are reasonable for all items, and the few drinks that I had ordered (one latte and a cocktail) the quality was spot on. Service is what you'd expect - kind and quick. Highly recommend for those passing through!

I love going here but the hours are not 100% reliable. Today was one of them the two girls working was mostly talking to their college friends while people were waiting in line. Then they decided in 15 minute to close early at 1 when the coffee shop was still crowded. Their excuse was " it's atchison people don't care" and they wanted to leave work early. I love the place, I go on a regular cause they are usually nice and its the only decent place here. If this is how they are gonna act cause of their friends Hanging around a front of the cash register. I might as well go somewhere else for a good ice coffee.

Nice cafe in a charming small city. For living in Europe, this cafe compares to the best. Customer service was top notch. Their WiFi is great and the decor gives it a relaxing atmosphere. The place is actually much bigger then you think. There is a large back area with private rooms that I believe you can reserve. The patio is in the back as well. If I ever pass through Atchison again, I’ll definitely stop in. Highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a good brew with great customer service. They also have craft beer, wine and cocktails.
