Damara is the best and the food here is so good. They give you a little amuse bouche when you arrive and care for you at every level. Thank you for this gem in Fidi.

Had a solo day this past weekend & sat at the bar. Damara the bartender was super friendly & attentive. Ordered one of the specials, tri-colored farfalle with crab meat & lobster pomodoro sauce it was amazingggg! Also the house white wine for HH was good too.

The food here is super light and fresh! The lasagna is incredible. I really enjoyed the Fuocco drink, very tasty! Of course we had to have tiramisu and it is to die for! Nice vibe with upbeat music and friendly servers. Sam the manager is super friendly as was our server Carlos. Thanks for an incredible dinner and evening!

I was here for dinner with clients but would love to come back here with my partner. A low key vibe that provides a calming atmosphere that could be really sexy with the right dinner companion. The Bucatini Arrabbiata is hands the best I’ve ever had. Thank you for having NA drink options. Cheers!

Da Claudio in NYC is a culinary gem, known for its exceptional carpaccio. The thinly sliced prime beef melts in your mouth, accompanied by fresh arugula, shaved Parmesan, and a tangy olive oil reduction. With impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere, Demara was a wonderful welcoming server and bar tender, she made a unique spectacular drink to my wife’s liking, and was very attentive. Da Claudio guarantees an unforgettable dining experience.

I’d give the food 5 stars. Been to a few Italian places in Manhattan and i love their appetizers the most. I read a lot of reviews before visiting and their pastas didn’t look quite appealing so we only got the black linguine which was okay.
Burrata
The best dish out of everything we ordered. You’d often see Burrata with tomatoes or prosciutto but this came with beets and quinoa. I was never really of a fan of quinoa because i felt like it didn’t how it tasted but this one was amazing. The sauce matched very well with everything.
Polipo $23
The overall taste was nice. Would have been better if they cooked it a bit less or longer because it was pretty chewy. Stayed in my mouth for quite some time.
Black linguine $28
A note for those considering, the pasta sauce isn’t squid ink but the pasta itself contains squid ink. So the good side is that it wont get all messy and black but for those who like the squid ink sauce, it’s not the same.
The pasta has a strong taste itself so i felt like the tomato sauce and squid ink pasta kinda stood out on their own a bit too much. Didn’t quite feel the fusion that they were going for. It would’ve been nicer if they put a little slit on the prawns so that it was easier for us to eat too.
Lasagna $26
They bring the lasagna in a warm plate and then shedder cheese on top of that. It was a good warm dish but the portion was fairly small so you may want to order 1 for every 2 people.
Sorbetto (blood orange & pear) $8
You get to choose 2 out of 3 options (blood orange, lemon and pear)
The blood orange was not too sour nor sweet which made the pear sweetness stand out even more. The pear one was just to sweet. If you’re getting the sorbet because you don’t want a too sweet desert, blood orange and lemon may be the 2 options for you.

The dishes were OK. Good location, great service, and not bad ambience.
I was expecting something more for what I paid for. The Lasagna is definitely something hard to make but the flavour wasn’t there. Same for the other dishes with Ragù. However, what most surprised me is how they made the carbonara. The egg was completely cooked and it is not supposed to be like this. Additionally my friend added mushrooms, which shouldn’t even be an option.
Overall not bad. I haven’t tried everything but it seems like the owner adapted the flavours to a more American clientele.
