Don Coqui

Visited this place on a Saturday. It was a great atmosphere with great Spanish music and lots of good looking woman, they outnumbered the men. The cover charge was not outrageous, $10, coat check $3 and the drinks were a decent price. This is a well run establishment. I highly recommend this place.

I had a great time at Don Coqui in Astoria, Queens. Their brunch buffet is amazing! Great customer service and excellent food! Please try the Spanish lasagna (melted mozzarella cheese with ground beef and sweet plantains)! I could've eaten that all day! Also, the linguine with shrimp and paella are delicious too! Definitely would go back! 🤗

Good food, great party atmosphere, but a little disappointing in a few areas. First of, the restaurant area attached to the dance floor area is of far less quality than the dance floor itself, the walls are dirty and the floors need to be changed. Second, the customer service is rushed at most, no one is attentive to the customer but rather impulsive. Lastly, although the dance floor is really well put together, there seems to be a disconnect with the restaurant—for one, the music is so loud at nights that the you can’t even enjoy a social conversation while having dinner. Perhaps my opinion is bias, but I do think this place has great potential to be a 5 star spot.

Great music by more than 1 DJ a night from 96.3 FM. Valet parking for $10, entrance to the club free all night. The only thing I don't like is that in order for you to have a table you need to order more than 1 bottle back to back😡😡 other wise you will be standing all night by a small table if you get there early without chairs. The drinks start at $10 and food is amazing and a great price for the amount you get.
